I am satisfied with the faculty members.
Placements: There is no guarantee of getting placed, but they organise field trips which help in getting more on-ground reports from newspapers. Field trips are useful for making connections. We visited the Times of India industry and camera museum. We also attended media conclaves which helped in making good connections. It also visited the Doordarshan office.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel. The infrastructure is not that bad. It does not have a green room. Wi-Fi facility is available in the whole college. Only one camera is there for 140 students of journalism which makes it difficult to have practical knowledge. There is no fault of the faculty members because college management is not providing full infrastructure and rooms to teachers so that they can teach students with practice skill sets.
Faculty: Teachers are the best, and one of the best journalisms. They are very well experienced. The course curriculum is relevant. The semester exam's difficulty level is not much. It is easy to score marks. The course curriculum makes students ready for the job because teachers teach so well that we don't feel that we are not getting any practical knowledge.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to become a journalist. One thing I wish to improve in this course is the practical knowledge about the concept, which is not possible due to the lack of infrastructure.

Had great college life here at KNC it became like a home and I had a lot of fun.
Placements: There is no placement guaranteed you have to find your own pace but exposure to field trips is on another level. Try to make your contacts with seniors but don't rely on them. Its a girls college, in B.Com and other field more placement comes like EY.
Infrastructure: Library is good with AC facilities, Wi-Fi is available, and water cooler facilities are also there. You get access to reading materials, and e-library, and try to utilize as much as you can, classrooms are normal but journalism has its own separate building.
Faculty: Teachers here at KNC are very supportive, they do everything to benefit you, flexible in assignments and work projects, they want you to score as high as possible but you need to work hard for internals and written exams, the curriculum followed is the latest as per DU level. The exam level is quite easy.
Other: Fest is top-notch, crowd is diverse, and scholarship is provided to students.

Learn it all from KNC Women.
Placements: I don't have much idea about packages, but they have internship or placement opportunities in Journalism, Photography, and Media Advertising. There are lots of advertising companies, and also, there are lots of freelancing opportunities available for students.
Infrastructure: The Journalism facility is the best facility, no doubt. There is free Wi-Fi, and the classrooms are literally so cool with smart classes they have sometimes. The library is actually the best part of the college. The quality of food is good, and the cafeteria is also so neat and clean, no doubt.
Faculty: Yes, no doubt, the teachers are very helpful. They are so knowledgeable and very friendly. The course is very good for us, the curriculum is very relevant to the course, and the exams are not difficult if you study well. The passing percentage is 98%. Overall, it's good.

Absolutely satisfied with the course and college.
Placements: Placements in Kamala Nehru College are pretty good, and I would say it provides the best placement in Journalism Hons. The highest package has reached up to 35 LPA. Placements are done in Sprint Media, Broadcast Media, and large media houses.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not very good, though we are provided with a fully AC media lab, seminar room, and a department of Journalism itself. Washrooms are never clean, which makes the corridors dirty. The library and canteen are nice and affordable for students.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is the best, with experienced teachers who hold Ph.D. degrees and have field knowledge and experience. The course curriculum also includes visits to media houses and printing presses for field experience, and the faculty is overall helpful and interactive.
Other: Ullas is the fest of Kamala Nehru College; apart from this, each department and society has its own fests. Improvements are required in infrastructure and extracurricular activities.

KNC is good with faculty members and extracurriculars.
Placements: KNC provides placement opportunities to students who are interested. Mostly science and math students get placed in various roles. KNC is known for its arts students, so placements are not a priority. In my course, you can get a decent internship and placement opportunity at some good media houses like NDTV, NES 18, and some regional news agencies.
Infrastructure: KNC has a beautiful green campus with well-maintained infrastructure. Our college has all the facilities. college is well maintained and sanitary napkin-ending machines are on every floor. Canteen food is very good at affordable prices Multiple labs are in our colleges. All other facilities are good, including hostel infrastructure and mess facilities.
Faculty: I am satisfied with my course and curriculum. I chose this course due to my strong interest in this field. Our faculty members are very supportive, and their teaching quality is very nice. At every step, minor tests are taken to check student progress, which is very good for us and helps us prepare for exams. Getting marks in final exams is very easy just because of good teaching. Almost every student passes an exam if they appear for it after attending regular classes.

Good value for money and canteen is the best.
Placements: Placement in the field of journalism is almost negligible. There is a separate block for Journalism which has a media lab but practical demonstration is not much. But this is not just about KNC, even other colleges like DCAC that provide the course of journalism lack in it.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi networks are poor. The campus is beautiful with ample greenery. The classrooms are spacious but not enough fans. The library is 3-storyed with a large sitting area. The campus does not have a hostel. The canteen serves a variety of delicious food at pocket-friendly prices with Nescafe station and juice/shake in addition to it.
Faculty: All of the professors are Ph.D. and Masters in their fields. They are well-spoken, understanding and polite. The majority of the curriculum is apt but does not necessarily make one industry ready due to a lack of practical application training. Exam pattern and pass percentage is same as other colleges of DU.
Other: Campus crowd is sophisticated and friendly. Various societies are pretty active.

Overall, it is a good college with supportive faculty and the library with good number of books.
Placements: Placements happen in the final year, so I can't say. But from what I've heard, the placement cell of the college holds regular sessions and allows students to understand and take part in various roles. All internships and job offers that come up are genuine too.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure and well-maintained classrooms. Despite being a government college, the library has amazing number of books and the students find it really helpful. The college walls have very pretty paintings painted by the students which makes it a lively place.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive. You don't have to think twice before approaching a professor. They provide good notes and take frequent assignments which helps students stay up-to-date with the syllabus being taught in class. The use of presentations also makes it a better experience.

Faculty members make it worth studying in our college.
Placements: Although it is been just 2 months all our seniors have told us that college placements are normal and many students prefer to go for masters, so they do not look forward to college placements. Students do have a placements cell that posts about internships. If students are looking for doing internships during the semester then it is a viable option.
Infrastructure: In this college, students do have a big seminar room and one classroom. Classes usually take place in the seminar room so, all the students get occupied. The room is well-lit and also has air-conditioners. Our college does not have a hostel which is a drawback for many students coming from outstation.
Faculty: I love the faculty members of this college. All the teachers are well-read in their respective fields. Classes are fun as there are group discussions. Emphasis is given more on practical knowledge than mugging up the content. The fact that our teachers listen to our opinions, and respect them instead of just teaching and getting done with the syllabus is something that I like a lot.
