College is overall better.
Placements: As of the current situation and based on past situations that I know personally, around 70-80% of students get placements. Some of them don’t want a job and prefer to pursue higher education, and from what I know, it's a good number of students who get placed. The packages are around 2-3 LPA. The highest salary offered is Rs. 40,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. Top companies include TCS, Maruti, and Johnson. Top roles are based on talent and skills.
Infrastructure: We have good facilities and infrastructure on campus, including Wi-Fi and CCTV. The quality of hostel and canteen facilities is okay. Faculty members are very good and well-experienced, though some areas need improvement. Improvements and additions like internship opportunities and higher sports resources are needed.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful and open to helping us. All are well-qualified with good teaching skills. The curriculum is relevant, but it can be improved in this AI and digital era. The semester exams are manageable due to the teachers’ good teaching skills, but students need curiosity and attention to understand and study effectively.
Other: Currently, I am pursuing a Diploma in Electronics Engineering, which is relevant to me, and that’s why I chose this course. The college is not too old, so it needs improvement in various aspects, like management and ensuring students' ability to understand the curriculum and study well using interactive methods. They organize events, sports, and many more regularly, which I appreciate.
