Really good college for studies, excellent infrastructure, and also good placement in 2025.

Placements: Above 70% students were placed in my college. Highest package is 48 LPA in 2025, and lowest package is 3-5 LPA. In my course CSE (Cyber Security), currently, no companies are interested because all companies already have cyber analytics. Percentage doesn't matter at all, but you have no history of arrears and also have good coding skills to be placed. Top companies are Zoho, TCS, PayPal, etc. Data analysis and network analysis are the roles offered.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided all around the college. Also, good infrastructure for studies. Library is open till 6 pm. Hostels are good, and food is average. Quality of the facilities is good, and they also have good knowledge about the course they teach. In food court, food is good and affordable. Many games are available, like football, hockey, throwball, cricket, kabbadi, etc.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and also knowledgeable about the courses. Also, their teaching is average but okay for average students to understand. In my course, CSE (CY) has a related course, and it is more helpful for industry readiness. Semester exams are a little bit easier compared to CIA's. A 50 mark out of 100 is a pass mark.

Other: I chose this course on my own decision and I like to study this course. Faculty are more improved in my department. There are 2 big events, and scholarships are provided. Also, extracurricular activities are here.

Good placements in 2025, and a nice environment.

Placements: I am from the 2021-2025 batch of the AD department. Around 70% of our department students got placed in campus interviews. The placement training is good and knowledgeable. The highest package is 15 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. Many top companies have visited our college from A to Z. Various roles are offered like SDE, Full stack, system engineer, etc.

Infrastructure: Labs are renovated, computers are updated, and systems are good. The library is equipped with good books and is easy to access. Mess and canteen food are manageable. Sports is really good, as many events were conducted during the time. Gym facilities are provided inside the campus with the required amount of equipment.

Faculty: All the staff are really well educated and tried to share as much as possible. Definitely, this course curriculum will make students industry ready, unless one shows their own interest for the same. Semester exams should be taken care of because a single backlog can affect one's career.

It is a better college, and students can join it.

Placements: Placements are average. Around 60% of students got placed. The highest package is decent, but the average is on the lower side. Few top companies visited. Internships are limited, mostly through personal efforts. Roles offered are not always core-related. Joining is not that much the best.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is only for the hostel. Labs are not impressed. Classrooms are not impressionable, and there are separate blocks for the library. The mess food is below average. We should go 2 kilometers from the college for medical facilities. Sports and games are available every semester, and cricket and other sports preferences are there, so students can go for it.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified but not very engaging. Teaching quality varies. Some teachers are helpful, and others are less. The course curriculum felt outdated and not fully industry-ready. Semester exams are not very tough. Many students pass exams. The pass rate is 85-90%.

Placements: Karpagam College of Engineering was good placement college. 90% of mechanical department students are placed in reputed companies. The highest salary package was 8 LPA. The lowest salary package was 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Hyundai, Sonata, Tata Motors, TCS, Accenture, and Wipro visited this college for recruitment.

Infrastructure: Karpagam College of Engineering infrastructure facilities were excellent. More classrooms and good library were available at this college. This college had more mechanical, electrical and computer laboratories available at this college. This college management provided good hostel facilities for boys and girls. Variety of foods were available at this college mess and canteen. Medical and sports ground facilities were also there at this college.

Faculty: Karpagam College of Engineering faculty members were very friendly people. They conducted more practical-oriented classes every week. So students easily understand the lessons. So 95% of students get good marks in all semester exams. This college management conducted more extracurricular activities programs every semester.

Other: This college campus environment was very nice. This college transportation facilities were also very good. More events were conducted at this college. Participated students got scholarships and certificates. This college courses and curriculum were updated. So this college is the best engineering college.

Placements: Around 80% of students got placed last year, with recruitment primarily based on their core department. For computer science students, roles like software developer and web developer are common. Many seniors secured positions in top companies like Zoho, Infosys, TCS, CTS, and Accenture with attractive salary packages.

Infrastructure: The hostel food is average, but the hostel rooms are quite good. Our college conducts a yearly sports meet for our campus students. Wi-Fi is available and free for laptops, especially for hostellers.

Faculty: Passing is relatively easy if we study consistently throughout the semesters. Our college uses a grading system with no pass percentage, where C is the minimum passing grade and O is the highest grade. The courses are industry-relevant, covering topics like coding languages, data structures and algorithms (DSA), web development, backend development, and more on a basic level.

Other: The college has good placements, affordable fees, a strict dress code, varied hostel accommodations, and outing restrictions for first-year students. It also hosts a national event named Dhruva in our college and students from other colleges also come here.

Additionally, about 70% of students receive internships in the IT and hardware fields. Top roles offered include Graduate Engineer Trainee, Software Developer, and SDE.

Infrastructure: A well-furnished and well-equipped domain is needed, and technical equipment is installed according to the department's laboratory needs. The food provided in the hostel seems to be under the rating at 7/10, it is not too bad, but not very good. The sports meets are conducted every year, encouraging students to participate in various game events.

Faculty: Every faculty member is well-qualified up to the required knowledge level of their respective departments. The teaching quality looks its best. Each course offers students all opportunities to showcase their skills in industry-level training and careers. The exams look at an average rate of difficulty. If a student gets prepared for exams, then it is easy to score maximum.

Other: I chose my course through government counseling. Every course and domain here gives a minimum knowledge for a student to survive the fittest. The food court counter gets messy without any queue, so there is a need to improve. Events and cultural activities are conducted on a grand scale, engaging students to participate in various events and experience fun with knowledge.
