Very well satisfied with the college .

Placements: College is concerned about students placement, conduct many inter college and off-campus interview. Companies like infosys, Ashok Leyland, tata, Wipro, cognizant also conduct additional course and value added course.

Infrastructure: They provide free Wi-Fi for all the students irrespective of department and irrespective of year, nice infrastructure and class room for students to learn. There is separate hostel for boys and girls. Wi-Fi facilities available in hostel also. Separate hostel for first, second, third and final year student.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable. They teach very well so that the students who understand the lesson easily. The course is relevant for the students to work in the industry they directly interact with the company and teach relevant topics.

Karpagam College of Engineering.

Placements: The placements were good. Almost 100% students were placed. 1.5 lakhs to 14 lakhs per annum was the salary range. Many IT companies and a very few core companies visited. Many students also attended internships. Students were offered some stipend. The average was 2000 rupees per month.

Infrastructure: Good/decent infrastructure for computer students. Not so good for other branches when I was studying. But I've heard it has improved a lot in the past years. The canteen food is not so impressive. The hostel rooms are big enough but not comfortably big. As for infrastructure issues, projects could not be done within the college as sufficient infrastructure was not there.

Faculty: The faculty members were good, friendly and helpful in a lot of ways. There were 10 staff members for 250 students. The curriculum was average just like any other engineering college in Tamil Nadu. The college did not have much industry exposure. But still, it is one of the very few colleges offering this course in Tamil Nadu.

Review of Karpagam College of Engineering.

Placements: The top cells should be more responsible during placements. The quality of placements was good. Around 40% of students were placed. The highest salary offered was Rs 40,000 for doing the coding internships. The average salary offered was Rs 30,000 per month. Students can efforts good jobs. This college was supportive of placements and suggestions. The quality of placements was very high. Around 80% of students were placed in top multinational companies. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 6 LPA. The placements process was good.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was excellent in our college and various facilities were also provided like a badminton court and park. The classrooms were very good, and had smart television, where students can give a presentation. The facility of Wi-Fi was also provided, but only for the teacher and a library was also there. But many things were not well maintained like cleanliness. The food was good and the hostel facility was not good. It provides great infrastructure, with well equipped with the latest technologies. Most of the classes had smartboards and projects. Library was very resourceful, and there were various books for everyone. Canteens were very good and there were many items on the menu all the time.

Faculty: The teachers were very supportive, and the staff can be improved. The students were good. Safety was a measure issue in the college, and they were lacking to handle the emergency, and also medical facility was not well developed.

Other: Campus was good. The best thing was the cultural fest and various events held on our campus. The security system was not good, anyone can enter without an identity card. This college was average, it can be improved. Teachers should be more supportive and help students, if they were lost during the placements time. The college administration should look after the students' needs and not deny them every time rudely.
