Review of Karpagam College of Engineering.

Placements: Around 80% of students got placed in our course. The average salary package offered ranges from 4 LPA to 5 LPA. In our college, there is no partiality between the department. There is a common platform for placements. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our classrooms are good, and the laboratory is well-furnished with good equipment. There is a central library on our campus, and it consists of department books, journals, articles, and magazines. Hostel facilities are good, and Wi-Fi is also available. The food served in the mess is good. The canteen facility is better. Sports like cricket, football, kabaddi, basketball, tennis, handball, hockey, etc., are encouraged on our campus.

Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are easily approachable and helpful. Our course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not easy. Exams are based on the understanding level of the syllabus. The pass percentage is also good.

Other: Our campus is eco-friendly. Students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities such as sports, NSS, and other events.

It is a good college for studies and placements.

Placements: I am from the 2023 pass-out batch, studying ETE (electronics and telecommunication), similar to ECE. The fee is very less if you have a low cutoff. Don't worry, as ETE is worth it. If you can afford it, you can choose ECE. ECE and ETE are the same, and everything is the same. The ETE fee is very less, approximately 50,000.

Infrastructure: The college has above-average infrastructure. The labs are completely great. The library is good, but the looks of the college must be improved. The 1st year hostel is good, and the rest are not the best (to my knowledge). Food is good, and sometimes, it's awesome. Sports facilities like hockey, badminton, cricket and football are good.

Faculty: The faculty members are good. Their teaching quality is extremely good. They are very experienced and knowledgeable. Semester exams are easy. If you score well in internals, you definitely pass. You need to listen to the lectures property. I can rate it 10 on 10. The placement training provided is excellent.

Other: It is the best college and ahs a good environment.

Good infrastructure and can be chosen.

Placements: In the ETE department, about 70% of students got placed. The highest salary package is 8 LPA. The lowest salary is 3.4 LPA, and the average salary is around 4 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, Accenture, and Tech Mahindra. Around 80% of students got internships at HCL and Capgemini.

Infrastructure: The ETE department has modern infrastructure with smart classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi connection, well-equipped computer labs, and a digital library. Hostel facilities are decent. It provides clean rooms, good medical support, good food in the mess and canteen.

Faculty: Teachers in the electronics and telecommunication department are very helpful, well-qualified, and have strong knowledge. The curriculum is industry-relevant with practical exposure. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage is around 85%.

It provides good placement and is a better place to learn innovation.

Placements: The placement in this year was very dull but that of the previous years in our college was very good. The highest salary package offered is Rs. 20 lakhs per annum and the lowest offer is Rs. 2 lakhs per annum. More than 50 percent of the college has got the internship in some leading companies. We had a very good placement training in our college which was more helpful for attending the drives of the companies.

Infrastructure: The college is still under construction, but overall it is good looking and has more than five separate blocks such as IT and electrical block. The hostel infrastructure is very safe for girls and boys. The college has a good infrastructure, and the internet in our college is free with awesome speed. The labs in our college are equipped with the high-level computer systems. We have a very good central library where the service is good.

Faculty: The faculty in our college has great knowledge about the subjects and the out of the course knowledge as well. They are very useful to clear many doubts. The course curriculum is unique because it is an autonomous institution. So the knowledge we obtain is more than that in the other colleges.

Other: Dhruva is the biggest fest in our college. It is being conducted for the second year now. It is an event where more than 200 college's students come and participate as well.

Absolutely satisfied with experience as a fresher to 2025 passed out. It's a good college experience

Placements: Around 80% of students secure placements annually, with a salary package ranging from 3.2-24 LPA. Major recruiters include Infosys, EY, Accenture, Cognizant, Tata, Juspay, and Emphasis. Additionally, about 70% of students receive internships in the IT and hardware fields. Top roles offered include Graduate Engineer Trainee, Software Developer, and SDE.

Infrastructure: A well-furnished and well-equipped domain is needed, and technical equipment is installed according to the department's laboratory needs. The food provided in the hostel seems to be under the rating at 7/10, it is not too bad, but not very good. The sports meets are conducted every year, encouraging students to participate in various game events.

Faculty: Every faculty member is well-qualified up to the required knowledge level of their respective departments. The teaching quality looks its best. Each course offers students all opportunities to showcase their skills in industry-level training and careers. The exams look at an average rate of difficulty. If a student gets prepared for exams, then it is easy to score maximum.

Other: I chose my course through government counseling. Every course and domain here gives a minimum knowledge for a student to survive the fittest. The food court counter gets messy without any queue, so there is a need to improve. Events and cultural activities are conducted on a grand scale, engaging students to participate in various events and experience fun with knowledge.
