This college is literally amazing. I will recommend you to join this college.
Placements: 99% of students are placed. They are placed in big multinational companies without a hostel at 800/-. It often highlights the quality of on-campus recruitment, the types of companies that visit, and the average salary packages offered. I feel confident when I am in my college, it's a safe place and has a positive atmosphere.
Infrastructure: Facilities are very good. We have canteen, medical, sports, games, and other facilities. There are 3 boys hostels and 1 girls hostel. We have a big playground, canteen, library, labs, and also CCTV camera. College campus is very peaceful.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and supportive. Our teacher's teaching is of high quality. Semester exams are very tough. Pass percentage is 99%. Teachers teach very good, they are calm and so friendly. If you don't understand any subject then teachers explain this subject and this topic again and again.
Other: I chose this course because there were many opportunities.

Good friendly campus. Perfectly organised schedule.
Placements: Placement percentage of all departments: Civil Engineering - 10-20%, Mechanical Engineering - 100%, Electrical Engineering - 90-100%, Electronics and Telecommunication - 60-75%, Computer Science and Technology - 0-10%. Civil Engineering highest package - 35k/month, lowest package - 15k/month, average package - 20k/month. Recruiting companies of the Civil Department include L&T, Ultratech, etc. Percentage of students who got internships - 20%. Top roles offered - strictness about attendance.
Infrastructure: Faculties and infrastructure of the Civil Department: Wifi - not available for students. Laboratories - need to upgrade. Classrooms - good. Library - good. Hostel - good faculties, food is quite bad, but good medical support. Facilities for cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, etc.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-knowledged, many of the teachers have good rankings in JEE (AIR 1-200), best quality of teaching. From this college, you are perfectly prepared for industrial jobs. Semester exams are quite difficult for VOCLET students, rate of passing - 70-90%.
Other: This course gives you good opportunities to succeed in your life. The syllabus is a little old and needs to be updated. Many events are held here, with a big crowd. The campus is a little big, and there are a lot of scholarships.

The college is good for diploma in civil engineering.
Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Many companies recruited our students. Recruiting companies were L&T, DXE, Mando, Krishna Maruti, Pinnacle, Polybond, etc.
Infrastructure: In our college, Wi-Fi was not available in the old building but it was available in the new building. Laboratories were separate from other buildings. Classrooms were very big. The library was filled with many books. The hostel was not well-maintained. The food served in the canteen was not good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful, high-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was excellent. There were 6 semester exams and per semester, two tests were conducted. The pass percentage of the college was 100% which makes students industry-ready.

College is very good for Diploma in engineering.
Placements: Maximum 80 percent students are placed. The highest package was 400000 per annum and the lowest package was 300000. There are many companies were recruited our students. There are many companies were recruiting such as L&T, DXE, MANDO, Krishna maruti, Pinacal, Polybond etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not in the old building in our college but in new building, there is a free Wi-Fi here. Labs are separate from other buildings. Classroom are very big. And a library is here and there are many count of books are here. Hostel is very unclean and the canteen food is very poor.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and highly qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was excellent. There are 6-semester exam in our college and per semester there are 2 class tests are held. Pass percentage is 100 percent the students are fully prepared for the industry.

Institute is very good for Diploma in engineering.
Placements: Almost all students were placed in our course. The highest package offered in our course is Rs 5,00,000 per annum, and the lowest package offered in our course is Rs 3,00,000 per annum. There are many companies recruiting for our course, like L&T, Jindal, etc. The top role is junior engineer offered in our course.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in the old building, but there is free Wi-Fi in the new building. The computer labs are in the new building, while the civil, electrical, and mechanical labs are in the old building. Both labs are fully equipped with machines and instruments. The library is well-organized. Many books are available for all trades. The food quality in the hostel is poor, but the food in the mess is excellent.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and highly qualified and knowledgeable. They always help us with any doubt. Teaching quality is best for us. There are 6-semester exams in our college and per semester. There are 2 class tests held. The pass percentage is 100 percent. The students are fully prepared for the industry.

Satisfied with study facilities and good placements.
Placements: I am actually in first year but about our senior students who has already passed out, some of them are currently learning more higher course like B.Tech. And some of them has got placements in branded construction company or project engineers. I wish to get more higher study after Diploma.
Infrastructure: I am local student. So I can't tell about the hostel facility. Although as I know all the hostel facilities, canteen are good. Necessary medical facilities are available and a large playgrounds is enough for sports. But facilities like:-
Labs :- the labs are well designed with every necessary materials and also safety is also checked perfectly. Library :- recently I got my library card and the experience was good. The caretaker were humble for students and more of that every important books included in our syllabus are available. Classrooms :- The classrooms are cleaned and perfectly designed for each branch of students. For civil we have been given good desk for graphic work and large and different blackboards for the teachers. Wi-Fi :- till now good Wi-Fi is provided for office works.
Faculty: The teachers are always helpful and humble. Their teaching quality is fine enough for every type of students. The teachers prepared us for our future plans (for jobs or higher study etc.). In well planed steps in each semester from the beginning and till the end. The difficulties are not seems to be so tough as the teachers take good cares for teaching us for each semester. The passing percentage is above average thanks to our teachers' guiding.
Other: I choose these course because of my cousin who has gotten placement in a branded company. If the B.Tech course is also added in our college, that would be great. Many events like sports or Sessional events or any ceremonial party are organized perfectly. And also we has gotten Scholarship for SVMC.

Life is fun here, but I suggest you not to keep high hopes for placements.
Placements: In 2018, the placements were not good enough as many good companies didn't visit here. The number of vacancies available was also low. However, our college arranges some off-campus placements in companies like L&T, etc. The maximum number of students got placed in Polybond company in Pune. The job fair organised is not useful. Most of the students got jobs as a technical trainee.
Infrastructure: Our college and department have good infrastructure and facilities. Wi-Fi, labs, library and classrooms are in good condition. New buildings are recently constructed for expansion and remodelling. Medical facilities are seriously not good. However, you will enjoy hostel, food, sports, etc.
Faculty: The teaching quality is surely good, but the main problem is there is a lack of teachers. The ratio of teachers to students is very poor. You will gain good knowledge and get workshops and industrial training. Teachers are very helpful. The course curriculum is similar to every engineering college. It doesn't contain anything extra.
Other: I had high hopes for civil engineering, but now I think it was my mistake to choose it. However, you will enjoy college life and various programmes here.

This is a very good college, teacher are really excellent in their field.
Placements: Placement are not good. Only few got campus placement (like 20-25%). And the highest package is 3.5 CTC and the lowest package is 1.2 CTC, average package lies between the 1.5-1.8 CTC. Top company is L&T. Most of the student got internship in our time.
Infrastructure: This college is the one of the oldest Polytechnic college in west Bengal. In college you can find all the facilities which you required like Wi-Fi Labs Classroom and a good library. And hostel facility is good but the hostel food is much not better. And the college have sport and game facility. And also have gym facility.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and also knowledgeable. They have rich teaching experience and teaching quality is good. Off course this course will help you to work in industry. Semester exam are little bit difficult. You can pass the exam by reading one night before the exam if you attend all the lecture. Passing marks is 40%.
