Well-equipped labs, helpful faculty members, but needs placement improvement.

Placements: I am from the 2023 electrical diploma batch. Around 40 percent of students are placed. The highest package is 3.2 LPA, the lowest is 1.2 LPA, and average is 1.8 LPA. Top recruiters are L&T, Exide, and local industries. About 25 percent of students got internships in small firms. Roles offered are junior engineer and technician.

Infrastructure: Electrical engineering department has well-equipped labs, decent classrooms and access to a shared library with relevant books. Wi-Fi is limited. Hostel facilities are average with basic rooms and common washrooms. Mess food is moderate in quality. There are limited medical and sports facilities.

Faculty: Faculty members are generally helpful and experienced, with good knowledge of subjects. Teaching quality is decent but mostly theory based. The curriculum is standard and somewhat industry-relevant but lacks practical exposure. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty. The pass percentage is around 80-85 percent.

Other: I chose the electrical diploma course (2023 batch) due to personal interest and job scope. The course has good practical elements and experienced teachers. Still more industry visits and workshops would improve it. Campus crowd is friendly, with occasional events and small fests. The surroundings are peaceful, but connectivity is limited. Extracurricular activities are minimal. Scholarship options exist for reserved and meritorious students. Campus life is simple but decent.

The reality of KG Engineering Institute.

Placements: This college has a good placement opportunity. Every better student or average student gets 4 or 5 other companies. There are companies for the below average students. Teachers or professors help to get placement on the college campus.

Infrastructure: The hostel and inverse structure of the course are updated. There is new infrastructure and new buildings for the hostel. The food system and hostel room system are very good. There are many fans, light, and a good water source. There is a security guard for the security of this hostel.

Faculty: The faculty of this college is very good and very friendly. All faculty are helpful to the student who needs any help in urgent or any other problem. The faculty feels that the student sometimes faces financial difficulties in paying the exam fees or the hostel fees. Thereafter, the faculty members are very good.

Other: According to my statement, the college is very good for the new engineering student who wants to experience the engineering life or has interest in engineering terms. This college is very helpful for the students.

Placement quality of this institute and study quality are very good.

Placements: 80% of my batchmates are placed in various companies with different packages. Top recruiting companies are Maruti Suzuki, JSW, and L&T. The lowest package is Rs 12,000 per month, and avarage package is Rs 18,000 per month. Remaining 20% of students are interested in higher education.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of this institute is very good with different buildings and different branches. The classroom and laboratories are clean throughout the whole campus. The quality of canteen, mess, sports, and hostel is also very good. Library facilities are available with each semester.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, good, qualified, and knowledgeable in this institute. Teaching quality is also good. This course is helpful for industry training. Semester exams are based on study quality because there are no options for cheating in the examination hall.

Other: I want to become an electrical engineering, so I chose this course. Campus and scholarships are very good at this institute.

Placements: 100% of students get placed in the electrical engineering department. The highest salary offered is Rs. 21,000 per month, and the average package offered is Rs. 16,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 14,000 per month in the electrical engineering course. Top recruiting companies for the Diploma in electrical engineering are JSW Steel and Victora Group. 100% of students got internships from the Diploma in Electrical Engineering in companies like Ardent Computech Private Limited, Indian Railways, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for the electrical engineering department include a library, good-condition equipment available in labs and classrooms, and modern classrooms. Medical facilities are available, like fast-aid treatment. Sports and games are below average because the playground is in bad condition. Labs provided are good.

The teaching faculty members' lectures are very good, and they make students understand topics as well as possible. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams in this college are difficult because exams guard is strict. However, the pass percentage is 70%.

Average infrastructure and placement.

Placements: 70% of students get placed, and 10% go for higher education. The highest package is 2.4 LPA CTC, and the lowest 1.4 LPA CTC. Top recruiting companies are JSW and Tata EV company. 100% of students got internships (paid and unpaid). Top role offered is diploma engineering trainer.

Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in the hostal. Some labs are in bad condition in the old building but new building has some good labs. Classrooms are in the same condition as labs. Library is in terrible condition, necessary books are not available and few good books are there that contain the syllabus.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful from the start of the day but some teachers are rude in behaviour. We have to do atleast two internships in the course, two projects, and also have to give presentation on the two topics. It does not make students industry-ready, the students who do not place are still suffering.
