Q:   What is the admission process of KIET, Ghaziabad?
A: 

Affiliated to APJAKTU, admissions to all the courses offered by KIET are regulated by the affiliating university. Candidates seeking admission to BTech must appear for JEE Main exam followed by UPTAC counselling. Earlier called UPCET Counselling, it is now known as UPTAC (Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling) Counselling. Further, admissions to other undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of KIET, such as BPharma, MBA, MCA, andM.Techare also regulated by AKTU. KIET has also started accepting CUET PG scores for its multiple courses. Interested candidates can apply on the official website of KIET, Ghaziabad to the courses of their choice. . 

Q:   Can I get direct admission at KIET Ghaziabad?
A: 

No, KIET Ghaziabad does not give direct admission to any course. Admissions are strictly through entrance exams and centralized counselling only. Candidates need to qualify through JEE Main, CUET, or any other related exams. Direct seats without an exam are not given.

Q:   What should I do to get a direct admission in KIET Group of Institutions?
A: 

To get direct admission in KIET Group of Institutions you must have to apply online through the institute website, Institute will shortlist the candidate on the basis of their PCM merit at 10+2 level and candidate will be called for written test and personal interview.  On successful completion of the test and interview,   the candidate will be offered admission in KIET.

It has good facilities. Placements of seniors are also good. The food in the cafeteria is delicious.
Placements: Nearly 90% of students got placed. The highest package is 60 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The average package is 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are JP Morgan, Juspay, Atlanssics, TCS, etc. Nearly 40-50% of students got internships from my course in companies like IBM, Juspay, and GSCD. Roles offered in my course are software engineer, data analyst, manager, HR, etc.
Infrastructure: We have free Wi-Fi on the campus through our college ID. Classrooms and labs are well-equipped. There are 2 libraries on the campus with good facilities. Hostels are good and each room has two sharing beds and Wi-Fi is available nearly 100 GB per month for free. The mess serves food 4 times a day. The food quality is good. The campus contains nearly 4 cafeterias, which have delicious food.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified for teaching. Most teachers have a master's degree. Their teaching quality is good as they have much experience in teaching. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students ready for the industries and exams. Semester exams are tough but with enough preparation, one should be easily able to crack them.
Other: I particularly chose this course as I wanted to excel in Computer Science. The best thing is we will be able to crack many good questions which will gain our confidence. Do not expect much but overall everything is good. Each year we have an annual fest named EPOQUE in which every atudent is excited and one singer also comes in it like recently Jubin Nautiyal came.

I am well-satisfied with all facilities that are being provided here at this college.
Placements: Approximately 90% of students get placed. The highest package is 60 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The average package is 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, and Accenture. Around 40% of students got internships in companies such as Accenture and Infosys. The top roles offered are app developers, web developers, testers, etc.
Infrastructure: All labs are very well-equipped with the equipment that is required to perform any specific task. Wi-Fi facilities are also available 24x7. All classrooms are air-conditioned. The library is a place where we would want to go because of the environment. Food and medical facilities are good only. Sports facilities are good up to the standard in this college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-qualified. They do their best to understand students. They also complete the syllabus a week before to use the remaining time to use it for revision. The course curriculum is very well-designed and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not very hard and not very easy. It is average.
Other: I chose this course as I am always very keen to learn about changing technologies. The college organises fest related to tech and entertainment purposes also.

Placements: About 91%. The highest package was 48 LPA, the lowest was 1 LPA or 2 LPA, and the average was 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, Flipkart, etc. For internships, not many companies visited, and I wasn’t sure about that. The top role offered was Data Scientist.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi was good, along with labs. Each student had a computer in the lab. Classrooms were good, with centralized air conditioning, and the library was also good with a variety of books. The hostels were divided into 3 parts for girls and 3-4 parts for boys, with different year students living in each.
Faculty: Faculty members put a lot of pressure on academics, but the subjects became quite easy after being autonomous, except for the programming subjects, which became the toughest. The college definitely made students industry-ready. The semester exams became tougher after being autonomous.
Other: This course offered a variety of opportunities in any field. I could go into IT as well as the software engineering side. This course, which is irrelevant, should be removed. Epoque and Rann were events that happened a year.

KIET provides good infrastructure, supportive faculty members and better placement.
Placements: Our college has placed around 85 to 95% of its graduating class. Now that our college has been granted autonomous status, we have many more benefits available to us. The highest off-campus package last year was 60 LPA, and the campus packages ranged from 10 to 15 LPA. Our average package is 6 to 7 LPA. Some of the companies that hire our graduates are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, Wipro, HCL, and Cognizant, among many others. Almost 70% of our graduates secured internships at companies like TCS iON and DRDO. Top roles offered include full-stack web development, DevOps, software development DSA, and AWS cloud engineering, among many others.
Infrastructure: The KIET campus has Wi-Fi access in the library, classrooms, cafeteria, canteen, and labs. Students use their unique email address and password to access the internet. The quality of the internet connection is excellent. The university has a central library with a good book collection for every department. Each hostel also has Wi-Fi, plus clean and maintained rooms. The mess has a weekly food plan and all the meals – breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks – are tasty, of good quality, and have a wide range of dishes to choose from. There are also delicious drinks. Nescafe recently opened up shop on campus.
Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Classes are held on smart boards with proper teaching methods according to the syllabus for each semester. As a regular part of the curriculum, coding challenges and hackathons are held, which are beneficial to everyone. As an autonomous university, semester exams are divided into three parts: first mid-semester, then a second mid-semester, and finally, the end-of-semester exam, which is taken by an external examiner. The difficulty level is moderate, and around 80 percent pass the exam.
Other: I've chosen computer science as my major based on my interest. And the best thing I want to say is that I've received full support from my seniors, who have been helpful every time I've needed them. KIET supports different clubs, like GDG, Innogeeks, NSCC, and many others, like movie clubs, creative societies, TED talks, etc. Campus life and the cultural fest are marvellous, and we've enjoyed them immensely. There's nothing more enjoyable than a full-on party, and it's even better when it's organised by the KIET. I've been to campus concerts and cultural fests. They had celebrity guests including Jubin Nautiyal, Mohit Chauhan, and many others. I had a great time at the standup comedy performances by Kaustav and Kushagra, which were both hilarious. It’s not just events and celebrities; KIET also offers a 95% scholarship to all students, which equates to over 50,000 rupees per year.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are fully air-conditioned and equipped with a smart board and ICT tools. Wi-Fi is available throughout each department. Placements: More than 50% of students were placed by the second semester of their fourth year at KIET. Product-based companies are hiring graduates, including well-known firms like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro Technologies, Infosys Limited, and Pfizer Ltd. The average package for the class of 2024 is 4.5 LPA, while the highest package offered is 60 LPA. The courses available at KIET include B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, M.Pharma, and B.Pharma. In the B.Tech program, there are more than eight branches, such as CSE, CSE with AI/ML, CSIT, IT, ECE, EEE, and mechanical engineering.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are air-conditioned. They have a 24/7 Wi-Fi connection. The quality of food in the hotel is okay. The hostel looks very premium. The college has a gym, study hall, etc. The food served in the mess is good.
Faculty: Our faculty members are good. They are knowledgeable. Kiet has become an autonomous institution, allowing it to create its syllabus instead of following the university's curriculum. They are helpful, well-qualified, and possess a strong knowledge base. Its autonomous status, the course curriculum is highly relevant and prepares students to be industry-ready. Semester exams are generally considered more challenging than the university's papers, and the pass rate for students is quite high.
Other: If you are specifically interested in core branches such as CSE or ECE, then you can consider taking admission here. I recommend enrolling only if you want to pursue a core branch, it might not be the best choice for specialized branches. The college hosts a fest called Epoque, which typically spans three days and includes a concert, dance performances, and a DJ night. The campus tends to get quite crowded, accommodating around 8,000 students across all years. It covers an area of only 13 acres but boasts good infrastructure.
