Admission Process Through XAT
All the MBA colleges accepting XAT score for admission, follow the usual selection process - Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT) or Group Discussion (GD). The institutes conduct these personality assessment rounds individually as per their own academic calendar. Applications for admission to these colleges start before or after the declaration of XAT result ( in the third week of January). Candidates have to fill the online application form for MBA admission and appear for the PI and GD. They are offered admission only if they clear both these rounds.

Sectional cut off for XAT refers to the minimum percentile fixed for each section of the exam that candidates have to meet. For example, if the Quantitative Aptitude cut off is 85 percentile for XAT, students should score 85 percentile or more in the section of XAT to become eligible for group discussion and personal interview.
