- The General Merit candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and should have passed these subjects individually. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Computer Science or Electronics as one optional subject. However, changes, if any, in the eligibility criteria by the AICTE/VTU will be adopted.
- An attempt in the COMEDK UGET Entrance Test seeking admission to Engineering courses is considered adequate for figuring in the rank list.
- Diploma candidates are not eligible to take the Entrance Test as there are no lateral entry admissions.

Our college is good, not that bad.
Placements: Our class percentage of students is around 120, and the highest is in computer science engineering; the present count is about 120 students. computer science and data science engineering were new when we took admission, and for internships, the college provided many companies.
Infrastructure: Teachers are good, leaving some; our infrastructure is awesome, and Wi-Fi is okay. Labs are excellent, and the library is also decent, not at a high level, but good. The canteen is very decent; they should update that one thing, and the hostels are not good and need to be updated.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and they are even qualified. We have some faculty members who are qualified but don't teach properly, and most of our students will make themselves industry-ready. The semesters are not too difficult to clear; they are decent.
Other: I have selected computer science and data science; this was the new branch in our college, and the faculty was good.

In 2015, some headlines summarized our college because of some faculty.
Placements: 12 LPA is the highest package this year, and 6 LPA is the average package. Honestly, I hope that for the next upcoming batches, they will provide good companies and good placements. I hope soon we will have more companies give opportunities to our students.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good, and the college has a clean atmosphere with healthy oxygen levels. There are two to three teachers for one subject, and they help you out in every situation. There are good lab technicians to help, but sometimes Wi-Fi is not available.
Faculty: Teachers are good and very smart, always helping students in every situation. In our college, more than 80% of students pass each and every exam. VTU is a very difficult university to pass, and it makes students industry-ready.
Other: Teachers help not only in studies but also in all roles like sports, functions, fests, etc.

Satisfied with faculty and their way of teaching. The placement rates need to be improved.
Placements: College KNS INSTITUTE of Technology offers a minimum and average amount of placement offers to students of nearly about 3 LPA-4 LPA. As of now college is developing gradually and might get a good amount of placement offers in the future. The course which I chose is in demand and might be the highest value course in the future.
Infrastructure: The course I chose is worth joining and facilities available like labs, library, Wi-Fi, and other stuff are good and up to mark whereas the canteen food is not up to mark. Hostels are average and they are equipped with Wi-Fi and other facilities available with water supply. Warden is available in each block and there is separate hostels for boys and girls.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and friendly with students and teachers are hardworking to help students in their studies and their way of teaching is understandable and up to mark. The course is worth joining and the college makes students ready for the placements This college is affiliated with (VTU) (Visvesvaraya Technological University) the semester exams are moderate and quite difficult.

Better but needs to be improved a lot.
Placements: Only 10% of students got placed with hard work. The highest package is 3 LPA. It is received by many students. The lowest package is 2.5 LPA. IBM, Tech Solutions, and HCL are some of the companies on our campus. Everyone gets an opportunity to do an internship in our college in the 7th semester.
Infrastructure: We have the best library. It is the only place which is good. Our labs and classrooms are a bit old as our college started almost 20 years ago. We have a new canteen inaugurated in our college last 4 months back in 2024. It is a new place. We get nice food. We have a sports teacher and facilities for games.
Faculty: We have more experienced teachers who help us. In the upcoming days, they help us to build our careers. Some teachers don't think of their students. They just waste time and don't even complete the syllabus properly. As artificial intelligence is a new trend subject where people are most amazed towards it, exams are a bit tough from VTU Belagavi.
Other: Artificial intelligence is the most interesting and trending subject in the present generation. We know that everything or anything can be done using AI generate. It feels best to be a part of artificial intelligence as a part of a new branch which deals with the root that is made by adding some human knowledge. Akshak and Katalyst are some functions in our college. We have an SSP scholarship from the state government.

Overall, the college is good and well-improved.
Placements: Our college has few placements. I think the salary package offered is 2.5 LPA, but I do not know much about the salary package offered in our course. Our senior got a salary package of 3 LPA. The college is good, and it will be improved. It will also improve placements and packages. Facilities are good and well-improved.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Classrooms are also good. The hostel is not very good because there is no 2 sharing or 3 sharing rooms and it has only 6 sharing rooms. There are no attached washrooms or hot water.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. The course curriculum is also good. Faculty members are friendly and guide in a good way. Their teaching way is also good. Everything is better in the college. The pass marks are 19. Their teaching quality is also good. Semester exams are okay.
Other: I chose this course because it is good and it is developing nowadays very well. We should explore the matters of the course. A few fests like Takshak, Catalyst, and ethnic day are organised.

It is good but needs to be improved by management.
Placements: Only hardworking 10 students get placed in a very good company. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered 2 LPA. HCL, IBM, and Getz Solutions are top recruiting companies.
All students get the opportunity to do internships in companies like HCL and IBM.
Infrastructure: We have an average facility in our college. Infrastructure available for our department. Wi-Fi is good and classrooms are bit older. We have a very good library and all kinds of books are available. It is the best place to study and good place in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful. We have experienced teachers and only new teachers are bit lazy and don't work from the student's perspective. Teachers give their best to make us understand as I have taken computer Science. It is called the mother of all branches in building new things in the technology field. Semester exams are bit tough but the pass percentage is 70%.
Other: In today's technology everything is standardized by artificial intelligence. Today's technology is trying to build so much in the technology field, I am so happy to be a part of technology field. I wish to improve my learning skills and the more teaching. Tech takshak and katalyst are the events organized by our college. We have good surroundings and student scholarships are available.
