Review of Kumaraguru Institute of Agriculture.

Placements: To be honest, there are no placements in our college. At the same time, being a part of the agriculture department, there are no placement companies with high packages in Tamil Nadu. However, efforts are being made to secure placements from companies in other states, and there may be a chance to provide placements in future batches, like 2025 and so on.

Infrastructure: Our hostel is located in a nice ambiance with Wi-Fi facilities, and our college ambiance is also too good with greenery. There is no Wi-Fi connection in college for students' personal use. Instead, we can use the computer center for any searches. Apart from this, the taste and quality of mess food were average. In case of a medical emergency, we can contact the warden, and there is a hospital near our college. The playground includes facilities for football, volleyball, badminton, throwball, and so on. Another important aspect for the agriculture department is the farm field, with nearly 100 acres of land available for students' purposes.

Faculty: Every teacher is a Ph.D. graduate and knowledgeable in every aspect. The teaching is excellent. The curriculum followed here is nearly equal to the ICAR syllabus, provided by Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. There are two semesters per year, and achieving an aggregate of 60 percent is the pass mark.

Other: I chose agriculture based on my own interest. I am part of the batch of 2022 and one of the 173 students at Kumaraguru Institute of Agriculture. Agriculture does not only deal with the agriculture department; it encompasses several sectors like engineering, computer science, veterinary, etc. Each department teaches us something new for practical life and allows us to understand the challenges faced by farmers in every situation. Our college also has cultural events called Utsav, which are grand and enjoyable. The only drawback, from my perspective, is the need for an increase in classrooms.

Kumaraguru Institute of Agriculture.

Placements: There are only as many placements as you think. About sugars and Sakthi sugars are the top recruiting companies. Students got fellowships, and many were receiving scholarships. There are more helpful faculty members who were helping in getting better jobs. So we can get more.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure-wise, it is one of the best colleges. The college has Wi-Fi, the best hostel, neat sanitation, and everything. Sports wise too we have every amenities, and we get trained in sports by many people. Excellent infrastructure.

Faculty: Yes, a helpful lot. Semester exams are more challenging not because of college but because the course is based on that way. Faculty members' minimum requirement is completing post graduate degree and doctorate. They were naturally trained enough to create a better human and student.
