It must improve in placements and stop doing politics in placements.
Placements: I'm from last year's batch, and I have just completed my graduation. In our college, companies come for placements in the final year, and we are told to be prepared for interviews too. I also gave interviews at that time. Many companies visit the college, like Vodafone and Wipro. I received an offer letter from KPMG, and I'm currently working there with a package of 3 LPA. In our batch, only 5 students got placed, and the rest did not, which is not a good thing. The college should work on improving it. Now, there are still many unemployed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good. Recently, the college has been making a lot of improvements. It has renovated classrooms, a canteen, and a library. Basically, the entire college has gone under renovation. But the fee is quite high. If we compare facilities with the fee, then it is not worth it, especially since they don't provide good placements. The library has all the books. It also offers a book bank facility, which is a plus point. Every classroom is air-conditioned now, and benches are also of high quality. The food served is good.
Faculty: Teachers are really good and helpful. Whether it's related to studies, college fest, or even any issues we face, they do help us. Coordinators in our department are also very supportive. Speaking about the subject, they are good as well. They clear all doubts and are well-qualified. Exams are conducted semester-wise with an 80-20 system, but now, because of the new NEP, I think it's 60-40 or something like that. There have been a lot of changes. They also provide a question bank, so it's a big relief for students.
Other: The crowd at our college is good. Various fests are organised in our college. Something or the other keeps happening almost every week. During the fest, we will get to see many things like stalls, food items, etc. There is also an inter-college fest and our own college fest, named Parallax, where different colleges come and participate. We have a DJ night at the end of the fest. There's also a garba night, and we have theme days too, like denim day, twining day, etc.

This college is very good for commerce students.
Placements: Many students got placed in good companies, but not through our college campus recruitment. IT-related companies were very few, and students had to struggle for jobs. In my batch, none of the students were placed in IT companies, but they were placed in good companies like Motilal Oswal.
Infrastructure: Very well-maintained lab with projectors. Teachers explain very well using the projector. The food in the canteen is too delicious. In the gymkhana, there are every game like carrom, chess, ludo, badminton. The class is good, the auditorium, and overall infrastructure are very well-structured.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful and supportive and explain every concept very well, whereas some teachers are lazy, they just send you PowerPoint presentations and PDFs to learn by yourself and only highlight some points. Exam papers are not very difficult to crack.

It needs to improve placements.
Placements: I'm currently in my 3rd year, and till now we haven't received a single job or internship opportunity in college. All they do is charge a nice fee. It has a big name but no real value. In the previous batch, there were around 70 students, and out of those, only 5 students got placements, and even then, it had politics involved. Is this how students are supposed to build their future?. All I say is don't rely on college for a job or any placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of college has changed a lot. The college has upgraded many things. It has built a library, a new canteen, many more yet to be seen. Girls' washrooms in the college are the worst. We have complained so many times, yet the issue has not been solved. From the outside, everything looks good, but that's just for show. The library is big with a nice Wi-Fi facility, so we can study comfortably. There is a huge playground called turf where we can play anything like badminton. We also play carrom, table tennis, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are not that bad. Some teachers are really good and cooperative. If we do not understand something. They are willing to explain it not just once, but multiple times. Exams are conducted semester-wise. Even though NEP has come in, they still follow the semester system. I think their pattern is 40-60%, so it becomes easier to score more. It also provides a question bank so we can score. We should just study and try to study within good books. Our college is now autonomous, so they are the only ones who set papers for us.
Other: The campus is on a whole different level. There's always something happening in college, whether it's a seminar, an event, or a competition. There's something going on almost every day. Raheja is quite famous for all these activities. If we are the person who wants to enjoy college life and build connections, then this college is perfect for us. I have also participated in a lot of events, and it's been a lot of fun. In these 3 years, I have made really good memories, and we can manage our studies too.

Students feel safe with a beautiful, supportive, well-qualified, and overall good environment.
Placements: I think very few get an internship and placement from the college. Many students do bank jobs and data entry jobs. Some students do CA after clearing the TYBCom. I'm also doing CA. Some students do other stream work, like technical work, and they choose a different option.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are available in all areas of the college. Computer lab is small but air-conditioned, and auditorium is too small for arranging a function in it. Classroom is good. Campus is really good. Rate it five out of five. Excellent facilities at college are improving.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. A course doesn't make a student industry-ready. Passing percent is very good. Need to improve facility of industrial-ready, and improve skill-related information technology.

Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) - Batch of 2027

BMS faculty review: Supportive BMS faculty.
Placements: The institute offers placement assistance, but it's not guaranteed. Success largely depends on the student's performance, effort, and engagement. They do bring in hiring partners and conduct mock interviews and resume workshops, but not every student gets placed. Some secure jobs through their support, while others continue their search. However, don't join expecting guaranteed placement, treat it as a helpful addition, not a promise. Self-motivation and skill development are key to getting hire.
Infrastructure: The college provides a comfortable and student-friendly environment. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. The library is well-equipped, and the fully air-conditioned canteen offers tasty, hygienic food. There's a turf for football and cricket, a gymkhana for indoor games like table tennis and carrom, and a small but decent ground for casual activities. These facilities make campus life engaging and balanced. However, the college does not offer hostel facilities, so students from outside need to find accommodation on their own. Overall, the college delivers a good mix of academics and extracurricular activities for a fulfilling student experience.
Faculty: The BMS faculty is supportive and knowledgeable, making learning easy. The curriculum is well-structured and industry-relevant. Exams are straightforward and easy to clear with regular study. Great course for building a solid foundation in management. The curriculum is strong, and faculty support is good, especially for beginners. If you're proactive and make use of the resources, it can help.
Other: I chose BMS to get into the management field. Finance fest and everything takes place in our college, it's fun.

Decent college with supportive faculty and lively campus, but it needs more practical training.
Placements: Unfortunately, only a few students from our department got placements. Life, if I talk in percentages, then there were about 40% of students who got placed, and the rest of them were not placed. It was basic packages given by the company to students.
Infrastructure: It provides good facilities for B.Com students, including spacious classrooms, Wi-Fi, a well-stocked library, and a computer lab. The college also has a seminar hall for workshops and guest lectures. While there is no hostel, students can find private accommodation nearby. The canteen offers decent and affordable food, and basic medical facilities are available, with a hospital nearby for emergencies. For sports and recreation, the college provides facilities for indoor and outdoor games like cricket, football, and badminton, ensuring a balanced academic and extracurricular experience.
Faculty: Teachers for B.Com are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They explain concepts clearly and support students in their studies. The teaching quality is good, with a mix of lectures, presentations, and practical examples to make learning easier. The B.Com course curriculum is relevant and covers important subjects like accounting, finance, and business management. Students may need extra certification or internships to be fully industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult; with regular study and proper preparation, students can pass comfortably. The pass percentage is decent, as most students clear their exams with consistent effort.
Other: I chose B.Com at L. S. Raheja College because it provides a strong foundation in commerce and finance at an affordable cost. The best part is the supportive teachers and practical learning, but the course could include more industry training and internships. The college hosts fun events and fests, and the campus has a friendly crowd. It is well connected by train and bus, with many cafes and shops nearby. Scholarships are available, and students can join sports, debates, and clubs for extracurricular activities. Overall, it is a good place for academics and personal growth.
