Master of Computer Applications (MCA) - Batch of 2025
4.4
4Placements5Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Good placements and supportive faculty, with decent infrastructure and campus life.
Placements: I was part of the MCA 2023-2025 batch at LNCT, Bhopal. About 75-80% of students from our course secured placements. The highest package offered was ₹8 LPA, the lowest was ₹3 LPA, and the average was around ₹4.5-5 LPA. Leading recruiting companies included TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Infosys, and Cognizant. Approximately 60-70% of students received internships at companies like TCS iON, Wipro, and local startups. The most common roles offered were Software Developer, Web Developer, Java Developer, and QA Tester.
Infrastructure: The MCA department at LNCT, Bhopal had good infrastructure with well-maintained computer labs, Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, and a well-stocked library. The labs were updated and helpful for practical learning. Hostel facilities were average, with shared rooms and basic amenities. The mess food was okay, sometimes repetitive, but the canteen offered better options. Medical facilities included a campus health center with first-aid and doctor visits. The college also had decent sports facilities like a playground, basketball and volleyball courts, and indoor games. Overall, the campus infrastructure was suitable for both the academic and personal development of students.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable about their subjects. The quality of teaching was decent, combining theory and practical sessions. The MCA course curriculum was mostly relevant, covering core topics like programming, databases, web development, and data structures, which helped build a strong foundation for the industry. Semester exams were manageable not too difficult if you study regularly. The pass percentage was around 55%, so most students passed without much difficulty.
Other: I was part of the MCA 2023-2025 batch at LNCT, Bhopal. I chose this course to build a career in IT. The course had a good mix of theory and practical, especially in programming. It could be better with more live projects and updated teach topics. The college had teach events, cultural fests, and active student clubs. The campus was well-connected, the crowd was friendly, and scholarships were available. Overall, it was a good learning environment.

LNCT Bhopal offers great infrastructure, active campus life & decent placements.
Placements: Around 60-65% of students from my electrical and electronics engineering (EEE) batch got placed through campus recruitment. The highest package offered is around 10 LPA (from core companies and PSUs via off-campus), while the average stood at around 3.5-4 LPA and the lowest is about 2.5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, L&T, Adani Group, and a few government PSUs.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities at LNCT Bhopal are decent, with clean rooms and regular maintenance. The Wi-Fi is available but may fluctuate at times. The mess provides average food, but the canteen offers better options with hygienic meals. Medical support is available on campus with basic first-aid and tie-ups with nearby hospitals. Sports facilities are also present, including a basketball court, volleyball ground, and indoor games room. Overall, the campus offers a balanced environment for living, studying, and relaxing.
Faculty: Faculty members are mostly qualified and helpful, though teaching methods vary. Some teachers explain topics well, while others rely more on theory. The curriculum follows RGPV standards and is moderately relevant to industry needs, but lacks modern practical exposure. Students often need to take extra online certification. Semester exams are not too tough if preparation is consistent, and the pass percentage is around 75-80%. Internal assessment, attendance, and lab work play a major role in final results. More focus on project-based learning and industry sessions would make students more job-ready. Overall, academics are satisfactory but need improvements.
Other: I chose Electrical and Electronics Engineering at LNCT Bhopal because of my interest in core subjects and the college's reputation in Central India. The best part of the course is the availability of basic labs, a decent campus crowd, and the flexibility to shift towards IT through certification. Various events like Technotsav, sports week, and fests keep students engaged. Scholarships are available through the Madhya Pradesh Government and college-based merit scheme. However, the curriculum needs to be more industry-oriented and practical-based. I wish the campus had more industry tie-ups and internships for core branches. Overall, the environment is safe, friendly, and academically supportive.

It's a college with poor campus life and charges way too much than it offers.
Placements: I mean, it's mostly a mass recruiting company with an average package of 6 Lacs per year, and this is when the market is not that strong. There is too much crowd here, like 3,000 students in one batch, which makes shortlisting a bit weird. Not only do they consider CGPA, but for some companies, they also eliminate students based on 12th-grade percentage.
Infrastructure: The hostel infrastructure is pretty good compared to other nearby hostels, but I think it's quite expensive around Rs. 9,200 per month, including electricity, and the food is too much. If you can afford it, the infrastructure is good. One downside is that there are only three occupancy rooms, and single rooms are very few, with only one single room per floor.
Faculty: They follow the RGPV exam curriculum for syllabus, but it's very outdated. I don't think you'll remember much after exams because most students just mug up things for exams. Also, RGPV isn't very reputable and has many loopholes, so the curriculum isn't good.

If you want good education and lots of memories and knowledge, you should join this college.
Placements: The placement is very good in college. Lots of companies visit here. About 80% of students are placed every year. It is best known for placement. It is the best private college in Madhya Pradesh and has a good rank in placement record. It is the highest placement offering college.
Infrastructure: It has a very good infrastructure and has great hostel rooms. There are about 2-3 people in one room. It is very good and there is no ragging in the hostel. If you want to interact with people and make memories with friends, you should join the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members are also very brilliant and passed out from IITs and NITs. The exams are conducted by Rajiv Gandhi Proudyagig Vidhyala (RGPV) and it is very good. Teachers clarify each doubt asked by you, and you can ask as much as you can. If you study well means medium you will pass with good marks, it is not too difficult.
Other: There is very best college course which is famous for B.Tech engineering in CSE.

I am dissatisfied with facilities.
Placements: LNCT, the Lakshmi Narayan Institute of Technology and Colleges, is one of the best colleges in Madhya Pradesh and is considered to be a 100% placement-guaranteed college. However, this is not true. I am a student of Cyber Security, and I am still not getting placed.
Infrastructure: Labs and infrastructure of our college are average, because the campus is very large, and you have to walk from one place to another, which can be tiring. Labs and classrooms are non-air conditioners, so you have to manage without that. Quality of the facilities is average.
Faculty: Faculty members at our college are very poor because they lack proper resources. As a final-year student, I feel that in the past three years, I haven't learned anything that would benefit me. Faculty members are not adequate to provide a quality education. Exams are average.
Other: The Training and Placement department of the college is not very effective. Please be careful when choosing this college. It offers average value for money, but it's important to consider the reviews before making a decision.
