Degree in the appropriate branch or bachelor's degree in Engineering with above mentioned marks or with minimum CGPA of 6.0 in a 10 point scale and for OBC students 5.5 on a 10 point scale from any recognised Institute/University. For SC/ST candidates a pass in the Engineering Degree Programme is sufficient. In case of candidates who have an Undergraduate Degree in Engineering from foreign universities, candidate should produce an eligibility certificate from APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.

Candidate who have passed AMIE / AMIETE/ M.Sc/ MCA Examinations can also apply.
A minimum of 55% marks for section B in AMIE/AMIETE examination.
