Q:   What can students do after JEE Main session 2 result?

After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. Those below this, between the 95th and 98th percentile, should focus on attempting more mock tests and previous year question papers so that they have a better chance of clearing JEE Advanced

My college is good in all terms just need to focus more on college placements.
Placements: Around 40–50% of students get placed this year, but the placement ratio was higher in the past year. The highest package offered is 6 LPA. Companies like Capgemini, Cognizant, Infosys, and many more come to the college. Students do their own internships by themselves.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. There is no problem regarding it. Wi-Fi is available in each building for students. Labs are proper, and the systems available in the labs are well maintained. The library has all the past and present books that are required for students.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are very supportive and helpful in nature. They help with all related needs that are required during the course curriculum. College exams are of an intermediate level, neither too tough nor too easy. The passing percentage is very high.
Other: My course is a mixture of Information Technology and Computer Technology. Coming to events and fests in the college, they are very good.

College is good. College life is very good. Placements are average.
Placements: I am in my 2nd year, but this year about 50 percent of students got placed. The highest package offered is 9 LPA, and the average package ranges from 3.5-3.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are HCL, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, etc. The major companies come for software roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Buildings are well-maintained. It has a very good parking area and good labs. Classrooms are good. There are digital boards in classrooms. Hostel facilities are also available. The building for my department is very good, which is very famous. The campus is spread over 74 acres, which is very big and has overall greenery.
Faculty: Faculty members are PhD holders. The course curriculum is also good. Exams happen on time and in a proper manner. The nature of teachers is good and supportive, but some of them are not that good. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is 45 percent. Exams are of 60 marks, and 40 marks are for internals.
Other: In my college, many extracurricular activities are conducted, and we will get the chance to participate in many aspects of society. The famous event named Ashwmedh is organised every year.

College has good infrastructure and vibrant campus life, but the branch needs academic improvements.
Placements: The highest package is 4 LPA, and most of the students are working in call center companies. The number of students placed in the last year was not much. Most of the core companies from my branch are not coming, so we need to apply off-campus. The companies include Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, and Accenture.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided in the hostel include Wi-Fi, but it does not work most of the time. The labs are available in the college, which are well-furnished and based on a real-time project. Classrooms have well-furnished sitting arrangements, and the library contains most of the relevant books.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are qualified and have decent subject knowledge, but not all are equally helpful or engaging. A few teachers are very supportive and explain concepts well, while others rely heavily on PowerPoint slides and lack interactive teaching methods. The course curriculum covers core Computer Science subjects and includes some electives that are industry-relevant, such as AI, Data Science, and Cybersecurity. However, the syllabus is slightly outdated in certain areas and needs regular updates to match the current industry. Core subjects like Digital Electronics, Communication Systems, Microprocessors, and VLSI are well-structured. Some faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. The course provides a decent balance between theoretical concepts and lab-based practicals.
Other: Students also get opportunities to participate in technical fests, paper presentations, and mini-projects.

It is absolutely good because of the staff members and the campus beauty.
Placements: There are no huge placements from the college, but as of now, the college is autonomous, and it can be increased. The Electronic and Telecommunication department has the most placements from the college. The minimum salary package is 5 LPA, which we can easily get from the college.
Infrastructure: The college has a good building and infrastructure. The college provides good grounds for playing and a sports department. Every department has its own seminar hall, a projector room where teachers are teaching on the projector for better understanding.
Faculty: Faculty members are geniuses, very hardworking, and well-educated. They are teaching well. They solve our doubts easily, and we don't need any tuition. They provide their own handwritten notes to students for better understanding and learning.
Other: The college campus has a wide area, and each department has its own building.

Detailed review of Priyadarshini College of Engineering, Hingna, Nagpur.
Placements: I am pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from 2024 and currently in my first year. More than 50% of the students are placed in CSE. The average salary is 4 LPA, and the highest is 12 LPA. Many companies, like Infosys, etc., visit our campus. From the 3rd year, students start to get internships. You have to be in touch with the placement cell for that, this is what my senior said.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of PCE Nagpur is huge spread over 72 acres, but most of it is not developed, the maximum space it empty. College was established in 1992, so the infrastructure is old-fashioned. Classrooms are moderate. From 2nd year, every stream has a separate building. I live in Nagpur, and some of my friends say the hostel is average compared to the fees. In 2024, the fee was Rs. 65,000 per year.
Faculty: 90% of the faculty is very good, most of them have 25 years of experience and hold Ph.D. degrees. Like any other college, not all teachers are good, some of them are not good with behavior. They show a kind of attitude for students, you have to be silent and don't argue with them, that's my suggestion. Course curriculum is average. I don't understand why we have to study Physics and Chemistry, there are many things to learn in computer science. The level of the semester exams is moderate.
Other: To be honest, I got 87 percentile in MHT CET. So in this range, there are 2 colleges for the Computer Science stream, the first is St. Pallotti and Priyadarshini. After the research, I found that St. Pallotti does not have a Computer Science stream. If you have the above 90 percentile, you should try for Raisoni or YCCE in Nagpur. There should be improvements in the course, core subjects, and the midst should be removed. Many events, fests, and extracurricular activities take place in these colleges.

Priyadarshini College of Engineering is a reputed college in Nagpur.
Placements: If you work hard on your studies and skills you can find good placement opportunities. The average package is about 2 to 3 LPA while the highest package is around 10 to 12 LPA. Most students secure internships. It is a good college in Nagpur that you can consider.
Infrastructure: I am not a hosteler so I don't know much about the hostel facilities but some of my friends tell me that the college hostel is not very good. They prefer other private hostels or rooms that are affordable and decent. The courses offered are good and the campus facilities including classrooms, are above average.
Faculty: The faculty is quite good. The teachers are very responsible regarding students' studies and are attentive. They are always available to clear our doubts. Priyadarshini College of Engineering is a reputed college in Nagpur, and the sports facilities are also good.
