It is the best college for placements in rural areas.

Placements: About 80% of the students from our course got placed in top MNC companies. The highest salary package offered ranges between 3.5-12 LPA. Above 80% of the students from our course got an internship in companies. Top roles, like an associate engineer and system engineer, are offered to the students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and amenities at our college were good enough. Wi-Fi facility was high at both campus and hostel with a maximum speed of 250 Mbps. Food, canteen and medical facilities available were more than enough for the students. Sports play a major role in our college.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college were well-trained. They take both theoretical and practical classes, which provided new technologies and upcoming industrial machine. They provide practical classes and hands-on training. Most of the engineers were working at the reputation fields.

Other: I have chosen this course because it is a type of automation field. I wish the college should provide a real-time scenario in our course.

Step in MKCE, the best college.

Placements: If people interested to work in IT firm, then MKCE is the best college in Karur to get placed in well reputed colleges. The core company recruitment is much less but the college gives its the fullest support to increase the core company tie ups. The training given in my college will be well planned and it will be very effective, various esteemed training programme will be conducted often.

Infrastructure: The college was started about a decade ago, so the old buildings are somewhat made creative now, but still the buildings now constructed are well planned and it grasps externally. The only disadvantage is there is no common auditorium and soon it will be constructed.

Faculty: The faculty members working here are composed of PG graduates and few Ph.D. holders, but their experience in equipping the students base is highly appreciable one. Particularly the staffs will take separate care on each student, so they can make all of you to shine in the academics as well as co curriculum.

Placements were good in 2015.

Placements: The placements were good for my batch and my seniors' batch. Companies such as TCS, Wipro, Infoview, Maveric, etc. conducted on-campus recruitment. Major placements were by TCS and Wipro. Around 169 got placed in TCS and 51 got placed in Wipro from my batch. The highest package was 5 LPA and the average package was 3 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good but you cannot expect much as there aren't separate blocks for all departments. Wi-Fi and library are pretty good. The hostels are good. The playgrounds are good. The food is good in both hostels and canteen but you cannot expect much over there too. On the whole, I'll rate 2.5 out of 5 for infrastructure.

Faculty: As it is an autonomous institution, the course curriculum is really good. The faculty members are good at teaching and helpful. Some experienced faculty members are knowledgeable and good at teaching. There were enough teachers for the students. There is not much of industry exposure though.
