The MAT Dec 2025 registrations are now open. For PBT mode, the last date to register is Dec 7, 2025, and the exam is scheduled for Dec 13, 2025. Moreover, for CBT mode, the registration closes on Dec 15, 2025, and the exam date is Dec 21, 2025.
A few more updates are given below:
- The XAT registration process 2026 is now open for MBA/PGDM courses. The last date to register is Dec 5, 2025. Furthermore, the XAT 2026 exam will be held on Jan 4, 2026.
- The CMAT 2026 registration has started for admission to the MBA, PGDM, and MMS courses. The deadline for registration is Nov 17, 2025, and the exam date is yet to be released.
- The CAT 2025 admit cards for admission to MBA/PGDM courses are now available for download. The CAT 2025 exam is scheduled to be conducted on Nov 30, 2025.
- The ATMA 2026 registration for the Feb session exam for admission to MBA/PGDM and MMS courses is expected to start in Dec 2025.

Madras School of Economics has February to June as its admission cycle. The PhD admissions happen twice a year in June and December. The Institute follows Separate entrance exams for Bachelor's and Master's courses in which centres are allotted throughout India. For PGDM and PhD courses, the Institute follows various exams like CAT/CMAT/XAT/etc. Students seeking admission for the MA programmes are required to have at least 55% in graduation from a recognised college/university followed by securing a valid score in MSEET.
