Good faculty, good ROI, a crisp two-year journey with a UG in Science degree in hand.

Placements: B.Sc. Mathematics at M.M.C., Patna University, is one of the best options to pursue for those opting for mathematics in their UG. Despite being a non-technical course, students get placed well as the campus has good results. Toppers at Patna University are from M.M.C. almost every year in Mathematics Honours. Even teaching jobs are offered in campus drives for this course in decent companies. Average packages must be around 2.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: Earlier, the campus was not good, but during the COVID lockdown, significant improvements were made. The entire hostel was reconstructed, and the college canteen too. The food in the canteen is good, but the hostel mess is below average. The new look of the campus is amazing. There are also smart classes, but they are usually not used, especially for non-technical courses. Labs are not well-maintained as they have very old apparatus available. They should at least replace the rusted ones in the Chemistry lab. Wi-Fi is there just for the name's sake; it never works.

Faculty: The teaching staff is good, especially in the Mathematics department. It is evident in the results every year, as the toppers are from M.M.C. Classes are very regular; one need not attend additional coaching classes as the faculty completes the syllabus timely. Exams also occur on time and are easy to crack as the syllabus is not revised frequently. There are yearly exams, with two papers of Honours each in the first and second years and four in the final year. One has to score at least 45 marks out of 100 in each paper to pass the exam; otherwise, you will have a backlog.

Other: I chose this college because it had no fees and it offers a Science degree in less than three years with good faculty, and fests are always there for those who want to enjoy. The library is also there, and the location is good.
