It is waste of joining in this college They advertise as more number of students are placed in our college, but no core company placed the students here.

A good college average to moderate can join if you have a lot of interest in studies.
Placements: 20 percent of students got placed in our college from the ECE department because it is the correct department, and companies were demanding software skills, but from this year, even core branches will learn coding and industry-ready skills, so this will help us in the future for placements. The highest package in our college is 24 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA. Renault, Infosys, and Amazon are the top recruiting companies this year. 60 percent of the students got internships based on their calibre, and the above-mentioned companies hire them.
Infrastructure: I am not a hostler. I don't know about the hostel, but the infrastructure of our college is good. All of our classrooms got renovated this year to smart classes, digital boards, long benches, ethernet cables, and several labs library is good, they added books that are compatible with today's generation.
Faculty: They changed all the faculty this year. New staff came from all over the country to teach. It is course relevant and practical, and makes the students ready for industry. After every semester, we have IRT training in which trainers from companies come and teach us. Recently, we wrote the semester exams, and the paper is moderate, and we are waiting for the results.

It's good on the whole but the quality of placements in the current year 2026 is satisfactory.
Placements: My college has a placement percentage of around 40% till now in my course. The highest package is 6 LPA, and the lowest is 2.4 LPA. One of the top recruiting companies that come to my college is Renault Nissan (a manufacturing company). Around 10% of students got internships, and the companies are Zepto, Thermopads, Zen Technologies, etc. The top role offered in my course is VLSI and embedded engineer at present.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of my department are top-notch. They include good Wi-Fi, lab equipments, classrooms, clean washrooms, drinking water, and also an excellent library for learning. There is an issue regarding the campus hostels' food which is very unclean but now they offer quite good food only. The canteen, medical facilities, and sports are also top-notch.
Faculty: Teachers are highly-qualified, very helpful, and also qualified. The teaching quality is so pure. Students gain very good knowledge from their lectures. This course curriculum is relevant, and makes the students industry-ready. I don't feel very difficult in semester exams, the difficulty rate is 10% or maybe not that too if we concentrate on lectures and don't waste time. The pass percentage is around 70%. The faculty in my department are very friendly and easy to interact. They help to clarify students' doubts.
Other: I chose this course because I feel I am connected to it. I also love interacting with hardware components, and chose to do so under my sister's guidance. The best thing about my course is interacting with hardware components, and also sometimes software. The things I wish would be improved about my course are maybe having more practical knowledge than theoretical knowledge. My college is known for events, fests, and extra activities other than academics. Connectivity, campus crowd, and surroundings are good but scholarship is still not allotted by the government to few batches.

Not satisfied. Faculty has zero knowledge, but placements are good. We have a decent infrastructure.
Placements: There is approximately 80% placements. The highest package is 25 LPA, the lowest package is 2 LPA, and the average package is 4-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, and IBM. Only 2 students got internships: one at Vivnovation and the other at Life Guru organisation. Top roles offered are Software Developer and Data Scientist.
Infrastructure: There is decent infrastructure and no proper Wi-Fi, and there will be no signal. Computers in the lab don't work properly, and the AC does not work. No proper infrastructure. Only some work. In the hostel, the quality of food is okay, there are decent medical facilities, and there are no sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are very poor. They have zero knowledge, and the teaching quality is decent. No faculty has proper communication skills, including the HOD. They don't teach properly. The course curriculum is not at all industry-ready, and the semester exams are not that difficult. the pass percentage is around 75-80%.

MREC (MRDU) review: Strict faculty, strong skills and curriculum
Placements: Placements are pretty good, with the highest package as I know being 21 LPA from the IT department, and the AIML department has also received good placements this year while the college provides professional training and students from any branch can achieve any company.
Infrastructure: The new block for us (1st year) is the best, with good classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, well-equipped modern labs, a huge well-infrastructure library, good mess and canteen, though the playground is short and not good for cricket.
Faculty: Faculty are experienced but fast-paced, and the AIML curriculum is robust covering key ML/DL concepts, though math-heavy, with tricky exams that test logic over memory, making it a tough environment that demands constant effort but builds strong technical skills.
Other: Malla Reddy Engineering College (MREC), Maisammaguda is known for being strict with a school-like atmosphere due to rules on attendance, dress code, and GATE passes, has a huge and energetic crowd because multiple colleges share the campus, and mostly consists of local students from Hyderabad and Telangana with a competitive peer group in CSE and AIML focused on placements and grades.

The training program is very helpful.
Placements: Almost 85% are placed. The highest package is 96 LPA, the lowest package is 2.6 LPA, and the average package is 4.5 LPA. Amazon, Google, Infosys, Wipro, West Gold Resources, etc. Internships are based on students' interests. They can apply online, and written test exams are conducted on the college campus and off-campus.
Infrastructure: We have the best infrastructure in the whole of Telangana state. We have built-in Wi-Fi and smart screens in our class. We have a library with 10,000+ books, Wi-Fi, and a research area. The hostel is very well-maintained, and the food is very tasty. In the canteen, the staff is very hygienic and have good taste. We have NCC camps in our college and cricket matches.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful, but some of them are not good at teaching. This year, our college implemented an industry-ready training program. The trainers are really very helpful; they explain everything in detail and in a practical way. Semester exams are good and somewhat difficult, but if we learn the concepts, we can perform well in the exams. The pass percentage is 35-40%.
Other: I chose CSE (general) and am currently in 1st year, and I feel the course is worth the money because I have learned everything in a practical way that I never imagined.

It is a very good college with NAAC A+.
Placements: In our college, currently, drives are going on one after another. Most of the students are getting selected in drives. The percentage of students placed in our college is 70%. The lowest package is about 5 LPA, and the average is maybe 6-8 LPA, while the maximum is recently 22 LPA. The top recruiter in my course is Cognizant. The percentage of students who got internships from my course and in companies is 80%, with Cognizant, Infosys, etc. Top roles offered in my course include many manager, director, head, and HR positions.
Infrastructure: The college has digital classrooms, a well-equipped, very good auditorium, and an exceptional library. Very decent and good food is available in our hostel. Our college is collaborating with Google, and it is very useful for everyone because nowadays many students are using AI to solve problems and learn coding, so it is very useful with Google as Gemini AI.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was 90%. We have 3 years of theoretical and practical experience, along with 1 year of projects, workshops, industrial training, and internships. Our college provides online workshops in collaboration with Google.
Other: Because the future is mostly in EVs, I chose it. Teaching quality should be better and improved. Events, festivals, etc., everything is conducted in our college.
