There is good maintenance and a good response from the faculty members.
Placements: As we are from counseling, I have secured a 27,865 rank in TS EAMCET, so I got this college through counseling. The lowest package offered is Rs. 50,000 per annum, and the highest package offered is 14 LPA. The top recruiting company is Cognizant, which is related to the AI ML department. 90 percent of students got internships. In my course, students can be easily selected by the Cognizant company because it collaborates with our college.
Infrastructure: We have a good Wi-Fi network, digital classrooms, digital and offline libraries, etc. The food and maintenance in the hostel are excellent. There is a good mess and canteen. There are also medical facilities during an emergency. The quality of food is very good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. The course curriculum is relevant, and they conduct offline workshops. Semester exams are moderate to difficult. Faculty members play a key role in making students understand the required syllabus. They help students to learn, and they help train the students by conducting IRTP programs.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in the technical side of AI.

MREC (MRDU) review: Strict faculty, strong skills and curriculum
Placements: Placements are pretty good, with the highest package as I know being 21 LPA from the IT department, and the AIML department has also received good placements this year while the college provides professional training and students from any branch can achieve any company.
Infrastructure: The new block for us (1st year) is the best, with good classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, well-equipped modern labs, a huge well-infrastructure library, good mess and canteen, though the playground is short and not good for cricket.
Faculty: Faculty are experienced but fast-paced, and the AIML curriculum is robust covering key ML/DL concepts, though math-heavy, with tricky exams that test logic over memory, making it a tough environment that demands constant effort but builds strong technical skills.
Other: Malla Reddy Engineering College (MREC), Maisammaguda is known for being strict with a school-like atmosphere due to rules on attendance, dress code, and GATE passes, has a huge and energetic crowd because multiple colleges share the campus, and mostly consists of local students from Hyderabad and Telangana with a competitive peer group in CSE and AIML focused on placements and grades.

You will learn many things.
Placements: AI & ML course with nearly 80% placements. The highest package was 20 LPA, and the average was 3 LPA. Google was a top recruiter. Around 50% students got internships. Top roles offered included AI/ML Engineer and related positions. Many are going with AI/ml.
Infrastructure: MREC College has well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, a library and campus Wi-Fi. Hostels are decent with basic facilities. Mess food is average, and a canteen is available. Medical aid, sports grounds and indoor games facilities are available. The food is also very good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable with good teaching quality. The curriculum is relevant and helps students become industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate in difficult, with a high pass percentage. They are very clear in the subject.
Other: I chose AI & ML due to strong industry demand and future scope. The course offers good exposure to emerging technologies. Campus hosts active events and fests with a diverse crowd. Connectivity is good. More hands-on training and industry tie-ups can be improved.

Mostly disappointed with campus life.
Placements: In our branch, the placement is like 40 out of 250 placed. Many are placed in service-based companies, and the highest package is like 36 Lacs per annum, while the lowest is 3 Lacs per annum. The top roles are like developer and machine learning engineer, along with AI roles.
Infrastructure: The library is spacious but has strict timings, and I couldn't get much use out of the library. The resources are good in the library; all sorts of books are available. The hostel feels slightly more than reasonable in price, and the food and washrooms are rated 4/5.
Faculty: After the first year, you will never see your faculty holding a class; it is mostly dependent on you. Exams are conducted regularly, but the type of teaching they provide and the papers they give are completely irrelevant, and it is rated 2/5.

Satisfied with everything they provide in this college.
Placements: CSE AIML is a very good course. My seniors are placed in very good companies. Top recruiting companies are Accenture, Tech Mahindra, HCL, and Cap Gemini. 80% of students are placed; the highest package is 95 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average package is 6 to 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: Excellent infrastructure, good faculty, and good placements with a good Wi-Fi network for coding. The canteen is very good, with sports and all clubs for the students. The mess food is good, and the canteen is very good. They have medical facilities, sports clubs, and games.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and they prepare the students for placements. Semester exams were a little bit different because the question papers were a little bit tougher. The course I took was very good, and it is very useful, and it is the future.
Other: Events and all are worth the feels.

I am dissatisfied with faculty members.
Placements: I am going to graduate in the year 2026. My seniors have provided us with information about their placements, saying that it is even harder for them to get a placement. It will be more difficult for our batch to get placements until we graduate, as there are more Computer Science students than the required number.
Infrastructure: The hostel food is not that bad. Medical facilities are average, and there isn’t much problem with them. Sports are conducted in a very good manner. Our college supports extracurricular activities related to sports and arts. We even have a sports fest conducted in our college every year for a week.
Faculty: Faculty members do not provide brief information about the subject. They teach us what’s in our syllabus, with no off-topic discussions. Exams are conducted very strictly in our college. The course curriculum is relevant and helps students understand the necessary basics of artificial intelligence and how it works.
Other: You choose this course because it has high demand in the market right now. The best part about my course is that it focuses on AI, which the future will depend on. More information and data about our course may make it even better.

MREC is the best choice for engineering students.
Placements: The highest package in our college is 52 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. Many students got placed. The drives start from 3rd year only. Every branch has its placement theory. Amazon, Infosys, Google, and Turtle like many companies visit our campus for placements. There are online and offline placements available.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities in our college like fans, lifts, and specialized blocks for every branch. College hostel has tasty food with a large mess. There are number of variety food items on campus hostel food menu. We have sports fest yearly once. We collaborate with other colleges, we have co-curricular activities like SAC, NCC, NSS, etc. Canteen is available. The quality of food tastes great taste to enjoy in canteen.
Faculty: Great faculty members with good knowledge. Semester exams are conducted tough but by studying every day we can top the class. Semester exams are conducted for 60 marks and we have to score 21 marks to pass. We have to maintain 75% of attendance every semester, if not we have to pay condonation starting from 1000. We have to maintain at least 70% CGPA to enter placement drives by your CGPA the placements can be selected.
Other: AIML is my course I chose it because it has great future. There are many events conducted every week.

Our college placement dropped during COVID-19 which is the only thing I'm dissatisfied with.
Placements: 80% of students got placed from my course. The highest package is 96 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA. The average package is 12 LPA. Mahindra is one of the top companies. 60% of students got internships. Machines learning engineer is the top roles offered in my course.
Infrastructure: Our college has labs and classrooms with good infrastructure. But there is an issue with Wi-Fi in our college. The quality of the facilities and food are good in hostel. Mess, medical facilities, and sports are good in our college. Canteen food is average and it contains all kinds of fast food.
Faculty: Few teachers are worth it but remaining just read the PPT. Teaching quality is okay. Course curriculum is relevant, it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are a little bit difficult but we can study. Pass percentage is 75% and the question papers are prepared by NIT faculty members.
Other: I chose this course because I am passionate about AI. I wish more hands-on experience could make us know more about AI. We have Akshara a non-technical event and Vishesh a technical event of 2 days each and some concerts, etc.
