I am satisfied because of the good placements, teaching and good facilities.
Placements: Almost 50% of the students who get placed are from this college. The highest salary package offered was above 1 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was below Rs. 10k per month and the average salary package offered was up to 50k per month. Top companies like Wipro, L&T, InfoPark etc., recruited almost half of the students. Top role was developer
Infrastructure: Our college has many facilities, including labs, Wi-Fi, classrooms, a library, seminar halls, conference rooms, etc. Ambulance for medical facilities is available. Canteen food was good. giving the best opportunity to students who are capable of sports and games. Overall, there is good infrastructure .
Faculty: There is a good quality of teaching. It doesn't make students industry-ready and we need to work hard to reach higher positions for a high salary. Exams depend on the university, and we couldn't imagine if exams were easier or not. The passing percentage is more than 65% .
Other: I chose civil engineering because there are good job opportunities. Nothing Every event will happen according to the date given by university.

The college provides good infrastructure but lags in placements.
Placements: Around 10% of the students were placed, and the rest went to off-campus placements. The highest salary offered was around Rs. 20,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered was around Rs. 10,000 per month. Companies like Orakor and Merit Homes visited our college. Top roles offered were structural designer, site engineer, and some got selected into Kochi Metro Limited. None of the students got internships.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-maintained with adequate amenities. Wi-Fi routers are provided on every floor, which helped us to access the internet from classroom. Computer lab facilities are at par level. You won't get any sharing option for a hostel. It's a 4 sharing room with an adequate number of bathroom facilities on every floor. Food served is an average.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members were helpful and had work experience, which helped the students to gain practical knowledge. Teaching quality is above average, and they make sure that the contents are getting conveyed to students. The course curriculum is relevant, which covers most of the theory and practical scenarios happening around the world.
Other: I have chosen this course as the current market needs more civil engineers. All the software's that we are using is changing. So self updation in knowledge is needed. Events and fests happen once in every year. The campus crowd is good.

I am very much satisfied with the facilities available in the college.
Placements: Placement opportunities are available in the college. At least 15-20 companies visit the campus for placements. The placement training is also provided to the students of all years. The average package offered is 30 lacs per annum, and the highest package offered is 50 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. The campus environment is very good for studies. All types of labs are available on the campus. Wi-Fi facility is available. A library is present. Food available in the canteen is very good. Quality of classrooms is very good. There are also places outside the main building where you can relax for some time.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and have very good knowledge of the subject. They clear the doubts of students. The student-faculty ratio is 40:1. HODs are very helpful. They know how to maintain discipline in the college. The faculty members are very cooperative.

Mangalam is great with helpful teachers. Mangalam is a bit costly, but worth the money.
Placements: There will be nice placements in CS, EC and EEE and in all the batches related to IT. The average salaries offered was about Rs. 25,000 per month, but the highest was around Rs. 1 Lakhs per month. Also, the students were offered good roles and internships were provided to almost all of them. There is also a placement cell available which is very useful.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are available including free Wi-Fi, a library and medical facilities. Also, sports and games are active. There will be a school of B.Arch and also an arts college in the campus. The labs here are good, but not great. The canteen food is nice, and available at a cheap rate. Also, the hostel here is good and strict.
Faculty: The teachers here are extremely helpful and qualified. All the teaching methods include smart classes which are available in all the classrooms. Also, industrial visits are provided timely. The course curriculum was extremely useful and helpful. Teachers also help students even after the class hours.
Other: Scholarships are available for the students with high grades. All the fest and events are conducted, and different club activities are present here.

A review of my college - Mangalam College of Engineering.
Placements: Since, I am from civil engineering department, there is not much placement available for us in our college. But in other departments, plenty of placements are available. Companies like Tata, Wipro, TSS, Techno Park, etc. are coming and placing students from electronics and communication and computer science department. In some cases, jobs are offered at call centers whereas in some other cases, distant places job opportunities are offered with poor salary.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure. It has facilities like labs, classrooms, library and sports. But the Wi-Fi and hospital is just okay. Classrooms and labs are good. Somewhat better food is available in the canteen. I have no idea about hostel rooms. We have a bus service available in the campus. I haven't faced any infrastructure related issues.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and friendly. They follow syllabus and PPT based teaching. No industrial exposure is there. The course curriculum is useful. In some cases, faculty members will criticize students for unnecessary issues.
