Study and enjoy - RIT College.
Placements: Since our batch is 2nd batch, our seniors are currently appearing for placement interviews. Therefore, I cannot give much information about placement now. Other courses have an average placement. Wipro, Tata, etc., come to pick skillful students. There are many activities where you can show your exceptional skills.
Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are of average level. Library has quite good amount of necessary materials. Canteen and cafeteria provide good quality food and they are of affordable price. Handball, football, basketball, cricket, etc., are major sports. College has its own team for most of the above mentioned sports.
Faculty: Teachers are great supports. They guide us at every instant. As we know, we are studying a technical course and there are limitations in guiding. We also need to put in our own effort. Semester exams are moderate to difficult. Faculty members will support you at every moment.
Other: Actually, the college has 63 acres of land. Most of the place is like forest. So you can experience great natural beauty. Night life is average. There are many events conducted by the college union. At least 1 event will be there in a month.

Very good campus life and is one of the top engineering colleges in Kerala.
Placements: Actually, this is a new branch, and I belong to the second batch. So, we have only one senior batch right now (third year), so we can't predict the actual placement scenario. But our HOD guarantees placements. They are also actively working with companies to establish strong industry connections and internship opportunities for students.
Infrastructure: The college has a big campus area. They have two men's government hostels and three girls' hostels. All hostels have free Wi-Fi. Surprisingly, the food is really good. When we talk about departments, we have separate buildings for each department, but Robotics comes under the Electronics department. We have a well-designed library building. We can access Wi-Fi in every building. Actually, RIT has a very good infrastructure.
Faculty: Talking about the curriculum, RIT comes under KTU (Kerala Technical University), so it follows their curriculum. They have updated their syllabus, which is good. And coming to faculty members, most faculty members are graduates from IITs and NITs, and many of them have Ph.Ds. So, they know what an engineer really wants. Many faculty members are really cooperative with students.

Review of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Kerala.
Placements: This college does not offer placement with better companies. The companies that come here are just above average. But majority gets placed somewhere. The average package ranges from 4 LPA to 8 LPA. We should train ourselves through internship programs outside the campus. We could get jobs in IT companies, laptop industry, Google, Microsoft, electronics companies, robotics companies, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is above average. The building and all are old. We have Wi-Fi facility throughout the college including government hostels. The labs offer is used by the whole department, and we should form a group in lab session (1 system for 3-4 people). The hostel is very underrated for the price. Hostel is very friendly (money and freedom).
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable. But some teachers don't put effort to cover the syllabus. Sometimes they won't even come to class but it is not applicable to whole teachers some are really gems. The 2024 curriculum is better than 2019 curriculum. The semester exams are held by KTU University. The papers are so good but they won't address mark to the most of students.

Satisfied because of faculty, facilities, good infrastructure, and Wi-Fi connection.
Placements: I am a first-year student of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, it has been 3 years since this course started. After 2 years, we can say how the placement is. The college is under KTU University and they conduct exams and other certified programs.
Infrastructure: Cleaned and hi-tech classrooms, every classroom has projectors, and the entire college has Wi-Fi. Labs and workshops are available, and there is a building for the library and study, but the library is only open until 6 PM. The college has 2 men's hostels and 3 women's hostels. There is a gym for men and women also.
Faculty: Highly qualified teachers are best in teaching and other activities and supporting every program. We are under KTU University, so the exams are conducted by KTU. The exam is average, anyone can pass with high marks. The college conducts programs during every holiday. Now the college is run by the SFI party.
Other: On every programmable day, the college conducts any one of the events or fests (e.g., Onam, Christmas, etc.). This college is around 80 acres.

A good government college for you.
Placements: RIT Kottayam has a placement record, especially in branches like CSE and ECE. Around 80-85% of students are getting placed from CSE, and 60-75% from ECE/EEE. Students get placed, while ME & CE have a percentage of 30-50% placement. The highest package offered was 18 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 3 LPA, with an average of 5 LPA. It got placements from international companies like Wipro, Oracle, HCL, TATA Elxsi, etc.
Infrastructure: RIT Kottayam has good labs, Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, and a well-stocked library. Hostels are decent with basic facilities, the mess food is average, and medical help is available. It has average sports facilities and a court that supports football, cricket, and basketball.
Faculty: Faculty members of RIT Kottayam are very supportive and well-qualified. The KTU-based curriculum is relevant. It has an updated syllabus that helps to build industry skills. Exams are moderately tough but manageable. Our college has a pass percentage of around 85% for most courses.
