Mar Ivanios- The dream college .
Placements: As a physics professor or research scholar. This is a bachelor's degree in physics, so after my bachelor's, I'm looking forward to doing my master's and then starting to search in the field of interest. There haven't been any recruitments so far. Although students are free to start teaching after the degree, they also offer NET coaching .
Infrastructure: I was a hosteler for 2 semesters, then became a day scholar. The hostel life is fun but the facilities are a bit off. Charging ports are not available in the rooms. The college's infrastructure is great; it's colorful and the vibe is one of a kind. The physics department has 2 labs, both of which have top-notch facilities. College life has been great so far. The library is the best part because it has all the necessary books that's available all the time. It's huge and has all the required facilities .
Faculty: The college is known for having the best faculty. It has a strong physics programme and is really helpful in enhancing the knowledge level of students. Lab facilities are top-notch, with the best supplies available all the time. All our teachers are highly educated and have a lot of knowledge about their subjects. And we're free to ask them questions at any time.
Other: We recently had a college fest, and it was great. But I was a bit off on the second day. But overall, we had fun. The college has programs almost every week so it never feels like college life is boring.

This college is kingdom of heaven for students.
Placements: Our college has good placements from good companies. There are lots of students who got jobs in big MNCs. There is a placements cell available for students in this college.
Infrastructure: There is a hotel facility available for students. The canteen, library, laboratories everything is good. College is also top in arts and sports. The management is very supportive. There are about 17 departments in the college. The campus is well-managed.
Faculty: There are 2 types of scheme aided and self-financing. Students do not need to pay the fees, only need to pay the government fees. Our college is an autonomous college, and exams are conducted by themselves. There will be no delay or problems with the university timing.

It has great teacher-student interaction.
Placements: Our course didn't have any direct recruitments. But it does offer many job opportunities in the real world, like lab assistant jobs and jobs in pharma companies. Our course also didn't offer any internships. So we do have a disadvantage at that part of the course.
Infrastructure: Science labs are good at our college. Labs are equipped with the latest machinery. The college hostel is a little expensive but is said to be good. I am a day scholar, so I don't know about the hostel. Overall infrastructure of the college is good.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and good. They treat everyone equally and are good to everyone. They are very friendly and supportive. The course is more theory-based rather than hands-on experience, and that is a bit of a let-down. Exams are punctual, and we did have a lot of record work to do. The curriculum covered almost every aspect of biotechnology.

Overall, it is a good college in terms of academics and college life.
Placements: Almost 30 seats are available, in which usually 25-27 are filled up. There is no placement for any course in this college. Internships have to be done separately on our own efforts and expenses, but our college won't facilitate or help with any of its processes.
Infrastructure: Facilities available for our course are pretty decent. Still, it lacks to provide a biochemistry lab and the ability to do major practicals like culturing and other screening tests individually. Labs are small for a biotechnology course with 30 students. Our college doesn't have Wi-Fi for students, and classrooms are as expected from any Indian institution.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified in their field, and they help you with anything regarding academics. The course curriculum is absolutely relevant to subjects, but practicals are a bit inactive. Semester examinations are moderately tough, yet our batch has the highest pass percentage of around 82% and going up to 100%.
Other: I have chosen this course as I can become a virologist. The best thing about this course is you get general exposure to the biology subject as a whole since botany and biotechnology is a dual main career-related degree programme. I wish our college to improve practical sessions and exposure to subjects like microbiology and human physiology. Ivano fest, which is our college fest of Ivanios, is well-known, and it is one of the best college festivals organised.

It was a good experience, and I love my college, and I am missing it.
Placements: Many students got placed in the class. Good packages are offered to them. Last year, South Indian Bank recruited many students. 25% of students got internships. Many top roles are offered. Many students opted for the teaching profession, and they settle with their research.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, etc., are available. The hostel facilities are available. They take good care of students. A canteen, food, sports and games, and medical facilities are quite good. They take good care of us if we are not feeling well. The food is very good. It's fine to opt for the college hostel.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful and friendly. The syllabus is good. It makes the students industry-ready. If we study well, the exams are quite well. The pass percentage is high. All the students from the class pass with good marks. The teaching quality is good. The teachers are very friendly, and we can share anything related to studies. They help us solve our problems.
Other: I love practical studies about living things. So, I took zoology. Conducting more live classes would make the course better. Good events are held, and Ivano fest is very famous. We have plenty of events. Many scholarships are provided. Extracurricular activities are conducted.

Our college has excellent potential.
Placements: About 20% of the students got placed annually. The highest salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month, the lowest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month, and the average salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. MRF, South Indian Bank and Federal Bank are the top recruiting companies here. About 20% of the students got internships from our course in MRF. Supervisor and chemist are the top roles in our course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good. We have a library, which is one of the biggest in the state. We have Wi-Fi. Physics and chemistry labs are huge, and they can hold more than 40 students at a time. We have more than 2 labs per course. Hostel facilities are one of the highlighting facilities of our college. The mess is very clean and tidy, and the mess cuisine has both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food items. We are Kerala University athletic champions, and our college has an excellent record in outdoor games like cricket, football, etc.
Faculty: All the teachers are PhD holders. They all are experienced and have cracked various tough competitive exams. Our B.Sc chemistry course curriculum is relevant. We have a credit-based system, and the pass percentage is 40%. Our question papers are easy. Evaluating teachers evaluate the answer sheets very liberally.
Other: I have chosen this course because I want to become a chemist. This course and college made me a good researcher, and I can do my best in the research field. I wish I could do my experiments faster. There are many scholarships like inspire, central sector scholarship, etc. We have many clubs like women's cell, science club, etc.
