Choosing this college is good.
Placements: The highest package is up to 32 LPA. There are very high offers that typically come from larger IT or tech firms. The average package is around 15 LPA (for that year's report). Companies like TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Cognizant, and IBM have visited the campus. Placements can depend on CGPA, internships, soft skills, and branch. Higher scores and projects often help chances.
Infrastructure: The CSE department has good working systems with internet, projectors, and ventilated classrooms. Labs are equipped with computers and essential software tools for programming and practical work. There is no hostel facility in this college, but there is a common hostel for both Matur Sri Engineering College and MVSR Engineering College for both boys and girls. There are PG hostels near the college.
Faculty: The CSE department is headed by experienced faculty with Ph.D. holders and staff pursuing research. The department has well-qualified teachers and technical staff. They also conduct training programs and workshops with industry partners (like CISCO, Oracle). Faculty explain concepts clearly and support project work and placements.
Other: Around ₹1,00,000 per year for B.E./B.Tech (including CSE). Roughly 4 LPA total tuition over 4 years. Students can also apply for scholarships from the college. Absolutely satisfied with the placements and facilities available in our college.
Placements: In my course, approximately 85% of the students got selected on the campus drives. The highest package is between 12 LPA - 14 LPA, the lowest is 2 LPA - 3 LPA, and the average is between 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Cognizant, Capgemini, Accenture, Wipro, and Deloitte are there. Students with internship certificates are about 80% from our course in companies like Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, etc. Top roles like searching and developing, maintaining vendor relations.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi facility throughout the campus. We have a library for different branches of students, labs, seminar halls, auditorium, project labs, good ventilated classrooms with AC, etc. The facilities of the hostel are good and clean rooms with attached bathrooms. There is tasty food in mess and canteen with reasonable prices, water facilities, etc. For the students, there are medical services available 24X7, and a qualified doctor with the ambulance facility. Every weekend, there will be a sports meet for both indoor and outdoor games.
Faculty: Teachers are really supportive of the students. Many of the faculty members have higher degrees such as PhDs and M.Tech. Some of them have experience from the reputed companies. Teaching quality has been excellent throughout the academic year. This course curriculum is really providing great results in making students industry-ready. The final exams are not really tough to pass, they are well manageable. The pass percentage is around 92.5%.
Other: I chose this course because it provides me the best opportunities and various choices in my career so I chose this course. I wish that things like improving the standards of the laboratory would be great. The entertainment activities like musical night, fests, farewells, freshers, crowd, meetings, tours, concerts, festivals, etc., will be excellent at the college.

The infrastructure is not good, teachers are not passionate.
Placements: 40% of students are placed. The highest package is 14 LPA, while the average package is 6 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies include HCL, TCL, and various other startups. Currently, the internship rate is 80%, primarily with startups. The top roles mainly involve taking on projects and completing them. There aren’t many high-end jobs available since our college isn't well-known. I
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are clean, but the canteen food is poor and overpriced. There are limited sports facilities available. The canteen food is rated poorly. There is no medical faculty, but libraries are available. Gaming and sports options are minimal, although MCC is accessible.
Faculty: Teachers are not very knowledgeable except for a few passionate teachers who know their stuff. No practical knowledge all bookish and board driven. The course is relevant and makes students industry-ready.
The pass percentage is 65% but only bookish not application so students need to put own efforts.
Other: Events generally do happen but not many permissions are given.

In a few words to summarize college is that its not that good and also bad.
Placements: We actually don't have proper placement assistance in our college. Only few companies arrived and the people who got placed were only 10 with minimum package of 3 LPA, and maximun package was 8 LPA that too for a single person. Top roles are assistant engineer in IT sector and business associate in the non-IT sector. The percentage is only 10%.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure in our college is quite good. Surroundings are actually clean and hygienic. There is no hostel in our college. Cafeteria food is actually good. Labs are good with proper systems and required equipment. Classrooms are clean and new with good ventilation.
Faculty: Few faculty are actually good at knowledge sharing. They actually clear doubts in a proper way. Exams pass percentage is quite good at our college. At present semester exams are ongoing in our college I think its actually good. Course curriculum is been followed and according to that, they follow exams.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. I feel I should not have chosen this college as there is no proper guidance and no proper placement opportunities in college. There are no events for proper teaching. When comes to extracurricular activities like sports meets and cultural meets are very rare. Fests are also not up to the mark. Cleanliness is quite good.

Strong academics and supportive faculty.
Placements: 65 percent of students were placed in our course and 60 percent of students get internships from our course. The lowest package for our course is 20,000 per month, and the highest package is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies in our college include Wipro, Infosys, etc. The top roles offered in our course are software developer, web developer, network engineer, cyber security analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: All facilities and infrastructure are available in our department. The quality of food available in the canteen is better, and other medical facilities are also available. On our campus, all sports and games are available, and there are sports meets and competitions.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. The pass percentage of students in semester exams is 75%. There is a growing need for engineering talent with skills in technology and business, along with hands-on exposure to make students industry-ready.
Other: I choose this course to gain more knowledge. The best thing about our course is that we can learn different programming languages, such as C, C++, and Java.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of its placements in 2025.
Placements: More than 10 students were placed in our CSE course. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. Recruiting companies are Cognizant, Accenture, Vistex, and Deloitte. Around 10% of the students got internships in our college. Software engineer and associate software engineer are the roles offered in our college.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are good in our college. Labs, classrooms, and library are good. There is no hostel in our college. The food quality in canteen is too good. Medical facilities, sports, and games are also good.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly to students. They help every student in the college. They encourage students a lot regarding their studies. Course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams in the college are average, and the pass percentage is 80%.
Other: I am passionate about my course, so I joined this. More practical things have been learned.

Other: I have chosen this course as it is in high demand in the upcoming future and it is near my home. The college conducts an interaction day for 1st-year students and an annual event for the whole college every year. The college celebrates Independence Day, Republic Day, and many more events.

Matrusri Engineering College is not one of the biggest colleges in Hyderabad.
Placements: Placements are good on our campus. I am a first-year student, so I don't know much about placements. We asked our seniors and they told us that if you study, you will get placed. Otherwise, you will not get placed. It is the only thing we need to understand.
Infrastructure: Our college is very small. Students cannot walk properly. There are only two blocks. There is a separate block for freshers and retardants. People have to stay in one block. Grounds and an open area of the college are substantially small. The college canteen provides coffee which is tasty. It is the only good thing.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified. You can have a quality education here but the thing is you have to be regular to the college. It is a very good college for freshers especially to learn the basic programs of your particular course. Students should not through payment seats.
Other: Students should not expect any events and fests.
