B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering - Batch of 2027
4.8
The college provides really good faculty and curriculum.
Placements: I am currently in my 3rd year and will graduate in 2027. For our batch, the placement session has not started yet. But I have already completed internships during my 1st and 2nd years. So I am confident that I will get placed with NIAT's support. Not only I, but nearly 85% of my batchmates have completed internships.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are equipped with modern facilities. Wi-Fi speed is decent. The library has a good collection of books. Overall, the infrastructure is good. Since Hyderabad is my hometown, I do not know much about the hostel facilities. But from what I have heard from my friends, the hostel is clean and hygienic, though the food can be improved.
Faculty: For me, the best thing about NIAT is the faculty. The mentors are very approachable and supportive. They explain concepts in a friendly and easy-to-understand manner. It makes even difficult topics seem simple. The curriculum is another strong point, as it keeps us updated with industry requirements and the latest developments in AI.

Good infrastructure and faculty.
Placements: I am currently in my second year of the course, so placements are yet to be done. But as of now, around 200+ students got internships in different companies all over India, which I feel is too good compared to other universities or colleges, and I am pretty confident that the upcoming placement season will be interesting.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the institute is decent. We have a play area filled with different indoor games, and medical facilities are also well taken care of. We don't have a playground facility at this campus, but a sports fest, HEXAVERSE, is done every year.
Faculty: No doubt about the faculty. The teaching department is the highly-rated part of the institute, and the quality of teaching is extremely good and professional. There are success coaches who take care of student well-being and track the performance of the students.
Other: This is truly value for money when it comes to fest and events, which are conducted every 3-4 months. In the teaching part, hackathons and podcasts are done frequently.

Overall experience is good, mentors also support.
Placements: Placements for our course have not started yet, but many have got internships. Almost all the students have done internships, mostly in IT companies. We are expecting good results once the placements start. Future prospects look decent in our life.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent. Labs are maintained neatly, systems are updated. Classrooms are spacious, and the environment is calm. The hostel is also clean, food is good. Wi-Fi, reading rooms, basic facilities are all available in the hostel. I like it.
Faculty: Mentors are helpful, doubts are patiently explained. Curriculum is decently designed with subjects that connect to the practical side. Exams are mostly fair, regular internals, labs, and semester exams. If properly prepared, it can be handled easily.
Other: Overall experience is good, mentors support, labs, activities are all balanced. NIAT programme atmosphere is friendly, there are plenty of opportunities for participation. Placements have not started yet, but many have got internships. Future prospects look decent.

My own experience about NIAT.
Placements: All the learning and skills will be through, which are required for the industry. Whatever we learn here, with this learning and skills, we can get job opportunities easily. The learning is very easy and helpful. Many of the students who learned in this programme are already receiving paid internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: It is neat and well maintained with modern classrooms, smartboards, and high-speed Wi-Fi. Labs are also well-equipped with the latest software tools, and every one of us gets hands-on practice. They provide excellent facilities, a clean environment, and good food arrangements.
Faculty: Considering the quality of training, placements, support, and exposure to real-world tools, NIAT definitely offers value for the fees. We get personal guidance, career support, and certification that make us job-ready. Mentors explain everything clearly and multiple times.
Other: No.

NIAT - The college that builds skills, not just degrees.
Placements: B.Tech offers (parallel with skill-based programs) batch of 2024-2028. Over 400 students got placed from our batch within 6 months. The highest package is Rs 25,000 per month. The average package is Rs 15,000 per month.
Infrastructure: High-speed Wi-Fi is available 24X7 and has wide campus. We have smart classrooms with projectors, smart TV, and interactive boards. Hostel rooms are clean and have ventilated rooms with regular maintenance. It provides balanced meals with veg/non-veg options. Indoor sports are available like carroms, chess, and table tennis on campus. For outdoor games, ground is near the hostel
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, helpful, and well-versed in real-world tech applications. Most faculty members bring industry experience, making learning practical and skill-driven. The curriculum is skill-based, industry-relevant with trending technologies.
Other: I chose this course because it's not just about getting a degree. It's about becoming industry-ready from day one in just 6 months. I completed 4 programming languages, worked on real projects, and handled content for digital platforms. The focus is on what a student truly needs to sustain and grow in today's world.

The focus is on building skills first.
Placements: Since NIAT is still new, there aren't any official placement numbers yet. But honestly, what I have noticed is that the college spends a lot of time helping students become job-ready. There are regular coding challenges, project work, and internship opportunities that help us gain experience early. I feel that by the time placements start for our batch, we will already have a much stronger profile.
Infrastructure: The campus isn't just about classrooms. Whether I need a place to study, grab something to eat, or just sit with friends, there's always a spot for it. The classrooms are comfortable, Wi-Fi works well, and the library is usually quiet when I need to concentrate. After classes, most of us end up at the cafeteria or the common seating areas. The hostel is also nice.
Faculty: The best part about faculty is that they are easy to talk to. If we are stuck on an assignment or a coding problem, they are happy to help instead of just telling us to figure it out ourselves. The curriculum also doesn't feel outdated. We learn through coding, practical sessions, projects, etc.

Learning feels more practical.
Placements: Since our batch hasn't reached the final placement season yet, I can't really comment on placement numbers or packages. What I can say is that the college doesn't wait until the last year to start preparing students. From the beginning, we are encouraged to build projects, improve our coding skills, and create a strong portfolio. Many seniors have already gained internship experience, which gives us a good start. I feel the focus here is on making students industry-ready first.
Infrastructure: One thing I liked the most about NIAT is how comfortable the campus feels for studying. You don't have to worry about basic facilities because everything you need is available in one place. Classrooms are neat. Wi-Fi is reliable, and smart boards are available.
Faculty: Faculty encourages us to ask questions, try different approaches, and learn by actually building things. Instead of rushing through the syllabus, they make sure we understand the concepts before moving ahead. The curriculum also feels more aligned with what's happening in the tech industry.

If you want hands-on experience, then this college is for you.
Placements: I am a first-year student at Nxt Wave Institute of Advanced Technologies. Most of us get internships in our second year itself. The internship provides a stipend of Rs. 15,000 per month. The top company recruiters include Microsoft, Google, and Amazon.
Infrastructure: The hostel is average and comes with a study table and chair. The Wi-Fi is a bit slow, and the classrooms are good. Ethernet cables are also provided. The quality of food is just average. We cannot expect much better quality in a hostel.
Faculty: Faculty is very talented and friendly. They are very patient while explaining to students. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready, which is the specialty of our college.
Other: I have chosen the Information Technology course in Computer Science because our college provides certificates for all branches, since we learn all courses. They need to improve their hands-on experience in the course. Many events and festivals are conducted in the college based on festivals and occasions.
