Is CBIT Good for B.E./B.Tech?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's an overview of Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT):

Pros:

* Good Placement Opportunities: CBIT has a strong reputation for placing its students in top companies such as Microsoft, J.P. Morgan, Oracle, Amazon, and others. The highest package offered is around 60 LPA, with an average package of 10-20 LPA.
* Experienced Faculty: The faculty is highly qualified and experienced, with many holding Ph.D.s. They are known for being helpful and supportive, with some even going beyond their duties to assist students.

Overall, CBIT seems to be a good option for students seeking a strong educational foundation and promising job prospects. While there are some areas for improvement, the college's reputation for placements, experienced faculty, and good infrastructure make it a viable choice.
Q:   When will Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology cutoff list be released?
A:

Unfortunately, predicting the exact date for the Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT) cutoff list release is difficult. The announcement typically coincides with the declaration of entrance exam results, often TS EAMCET (Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test).

Since the exam dates vary year to year, so does the release of the cutoff list. However, past trends suggest the list appears sometime in June or July.

Q:   Is Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology expensive?
A:

CBIT is a bit expensive when you compare to local colleges but when you compare it with the same tier of College like Manipal and SRM, you would find it lesser as it provide the course of 1.5L and the level of education is excellent when you compare to other college. The College provide all the courses in the average tution fees of 1.5L-1.6L, thus the college is value for Money.

Good placements in 2021 and 2022.
Placements: Placements in biotechnology are very low compared to other branches. Most of the students are placed in Cognizant, Accenture, etc. In terms of biotechnology, they are placed in Dr. Reddy Labs. The average placement offered is 3-4 LPA and the same for the software side.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available at the college. The library contains tons of books with different authors. It is well-maintained and very resourceful. Medical facilities are good. Sports and extracurricular activities are very good. Canteen food is not that great, to be honest.
Faculty: The first year was very easy compared to others. The actual core subjects start in the second year, like biochemistry, cell and molecular biology, microbiology, principles and processes of engineering. The third semester is very hard and requires a lot of effort, but the labs are efficient.

Our college has provided us with the most awesome experiences, and we've embraced new cultures.
Placements: Yes, many of our friends have been placed in different sectors of the company, and many can secure internships in the early second year. Numerous top MNCs visit our college, hiring a bulk of people at once, and the initial internships often lead to full-time positions.
Infrastructure: We boast excellent infrastructure; all necessary equipment is readily available, and a diverse range of books is accessible at any time. Hostel time slots are strictly enforced, and late-night roaming is not permitted. Furthermore, we have an excellent variety of food options.
Faculty: The teaching staff is amicable, comprised of Ph.D.-qualified members with extensive experience as educators and researchers. The college maintains a well-structured examination schedule tailored to student needs, and tutorial training is provided for those who may be struggling.

Life of students at the college.
Placements: Around 80 percent of students get placement easily. The highest package was around 5lakh and the lowest was about 2 Lacs. Around 60 percent of students got internship. Top roles are offered from the college. They support you in every possible manner and guide you towards your future.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available within college premises and the speed of Wi-Fi is also fine. Labs, classrooms and library are regularly cleaned and maintained. The quality of food at the college is also fine and they prepare different food at different days and special food on special occasions.
Faculty: All the teachers are qualified, helpful and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also awesome and they will definitely help you to clear your concepts. Yes the course curriculum is relevant and it makes the student industry ready. Exams are quite difficult.

It provides good placement opportunities for IT students and anyone who is interested in coding.
Placements: For the biotechnology department, the only core company that comes here is Dr. Reddy's Laboratories. Apart from this, other companies like Accenture, Capgemini, Deloitte, etc., also come here. To get placed in these companies, you need to learn Python and Java. The highest package offered is 30,000 per month.
Infrastructure: There are very good lab facilities and infrastructure. We also have a library. We also have annual sports and cultural meets held between different branches in the college. We don't have any Wi-Fi facility unless you use college devices.
Faculty: The teachers are very well-qualified, very helpful and provide career guidance. They also encourage and guide us to take part in competitions like poster presentations etc. Students can also take part in industry projects, and they put 100% effort in to make students industry-ready.
Other: Cultural and technical fests are conducted every year. The campus surroundings are peaceful, with greenery all around. Scholarships are provided based on your caste and rank in the exam.

CBIT- not a bad option anytime.
Placements: I was batch of 2015-2019. I cannot say placements in this college are the best for Biotechnology since the companies that come for recruitment are only a handful. Of course, there are a lot of software companies that come for other branches and hire students from Biotechnology as well. If you're looking for jobs specific to Biotechnology, it's difficult. The companies that mostly recruit on-campus include Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Aurobindo Pharma. Software include Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini. Internship opportunities are a lot. CCMB, IICT, EPTRI, Dr. Reddy's, Shantha Biotech, etc. To name a few.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is a 9/10. We had classrooms and labs with good facilities and equipments. I cannot comment on Hostel because I was a day's scholar. The canteen food is okayish. We have a health centre. There's a separate sports block and sports is good.
Faculty: 1)The faculty is outstanding. They're all experienced people with high-quality education. 2)The course curriculum is more theoretical. If more practical sessions can be implemented. Labs, especially for subjects like food and pharma, should be added.
Other: 1) This course is a good opportunity for people who want to remain close to Science but do not want to go for medical courses. It's an interdisciplinary course so the amount of opportunities is ample. 2)Like I said, more practical sessions/industry training/tours should be added. 3) CBIT has always been known for amazing fests and extracurricular activities. There's no doubt in that.

No, you can't get a seat in CBIT, because the eligibility criteria of B.Tech Biotechnology is 10+2 with MPC. However, if you have done a bridge course examination conducted by the board of intermediate education then can be eligible.
