It has better faculty members, support, and infrastructure. Placements are average.
Placements: As an Islamic history student, our course is mainly related to the teaching and research field. As I know, some of my seniors and super seniors have qualified national eligibility test (NET) for qualifying as an assistant professor. Placements depend upon your interest on the field.
Infrastructure: We have a great library facility and much better classrooms. There are digital screens for us to present our seminars. As our department provides Wi-Fi facility, we have proper internet connectivity. Nearby the institute, we have the MS medical center which is associated with the college. Hostel facilities are also much better as girls and boys have various hostels.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified in the field and their teaching quality is very good. Course curriculum is relevant as it covers the whole area of the subject and it helps to crack competitive exams. Exams are mediate level and the pass percentage is 35%.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in this area. I selected this course for my research career.
