Miranda House is totally worth the hype.
Placements: The Geography department has a decent placement ratio. The History department does not provide placements. Seniors from my course get placed through the Geography department. The average package is 7 LPA. The highest package from my course goes up to 14 LPA.
Infrastructure: Miranda House has one of the best infrastructures among all the colleges in Delhi University. Facilities are top notch. Classrooms are well ventilated. They are spacious. Most of the classrooms have AC. The quality of food in the canteen is decent. There are three canteens in total. The hostel food is also good. It is hygienic.
Faculty: I am very satisfied with our faculty. They are very helpful and have Master's degrees in their subjects. The course curriculum is very relevant, especially that of Geography, while the History syllabus, according to me, needs to be updated. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty. The pass percentage is also very good.

Miranda House is a little overhyped.
Placements: Many say that placements are good, but I saw it this year myself, and only 30% of students were placed. Most of them did not even apply, as they knew they would falter. However, I have no complaints about the Placement Cell, as they are working as hard as they can. Seminars and webinars are all organized for students to find the right opportunities.
Infrastructure: Buildings and facilities are good, but the drainage system is so poor that our college was flooded even during bare minimum rains. Canteens are good. The sports facilities are limited. They are quite good. I did not opt for the hostel, as a lot of politics happens there, but the rooms and all are quite good.
Faculty: It is always the same story, I think, where some faculty members are very sweet and caring, while some are adamant and even rude. I have not faced any discrimination from them, but sadly, their teaching sometimes goes over my head. Sociology requires logical reasoning, but our faculty members stick to what is in the textbooks.
Other: The crowd is diverse. I bet nobody will ever face any discrimination here.

Miranda House hostel is its biggest highlight.
Placements: Economics and Political Science, both my subjects, have the best placements. Economics students regularly bag packages worth over 10 LPA from Miranda House, and Political Science students are not far behind. Miranda House has a history of placing its students in core departments.
Infrastructure: My parents laid down a condition that they would send me to DU only to a college which has a hostel. Miranda House thus became a perfect fit for me as its hostel is fantastic, and so is the rest of the infrastructure. There are 3 canteens, and one of them serves the best Rajma Chawal. The hostel mess also serves very hygienic and tasty food.
Faculty: For both my subjects, which are Political Science and Economics, our faculty members are fantastic. Even the HOD is so helpful that if we have any issues, we can easily approach her. Thus, faculty members and the HOD of Miranda House are very easily approachable, and that is more than I could even want from my faculty members.
Other: Tempest, our annual fest, earns enough limelight to be discussed in DU circles.

Very satisfied with the college.
Placements: There are no placements for the Hindi department. Most people pursue academics only. However, other departments, including Economics, Political Science, and Sciences, offer good placements. The average package is 7.5 LPA. Percentage of students placed is between 30% and 40%.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is old but pretty decent, and facilities are available. The Wi-Fi network is very good compared to other colleges. Labs and digital resource centres are also well maintained. Classrooms have projectors as well as air conditioning, making them comfortable for students.
Faculty: Teachers are very nice and well qualified in their subjects. They are genuinely interested in teaching and are very helpful. The course curriculum is relevant to understanding various aspects of the subject and becoming proficient, but I doubt it makes students industry-ready.

How miranda contributes the personality of a student?
Placements: Placements are mostly held in economics courses. There are 50% chance of placements in other courses. Along with this, Miranda is famous for its research. So just go ahead with this. I found this college very good, and it will shape your personality.
Infrastructure: Most of the classes have ACs installed. You will also find projectors in some classes. There is a mini auditorium and a main auditorium. Our seminar hall is also big. Wi-Fi facility is provided everywhere. Canteen facilities are outstanding.
Faculty: Faculty members are great. All the teachers are very knowledgeable. They are kind towards students. They teach their subjects with enthusiasm and make every topic understandable. They also cooperate with physically disabled students so that they do not face any difficulty. Teachers and seniors are so cooperative.

Miranda is a great college and provides a great future.
Placements: 20% students of B.A. programme got placed. 21 LPA was the highest salary package offered, and the average salary package offered is 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was around 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are BCG, KPMG, Barclays, ZS Associate, Accenture, ICICI Bank, Nation with Namo, etc. Roles offered were financial associate, marketing associate, business analyst, Brand associate, Research Analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is average, it works well only in certain places, like near the admin office and in some rooms. But does not work at other places. Also, the canteen food was good previously, but because of its quality, hygiene, and price, it is average now. Library and classrooms are good. I don't live in the hostel so I am not sure about the facilities available there.
Faculty: Teachers of this course are good. They are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The curriculum is not really good, but it offers many other opportunities to students. Semester exams for this course are tough for me. In my case, my SGPA in the 2nd sem decreased from the last sem even after giving my best in exams. Therefore, I think this paper requires interpretation skills and deep knowledge to score good.
Other: I chose this course because I am super interested in ancient text and books like the Mahabharata, Abhijananashakuntalam, etc. The thing I would like to improve is including more ancient text of our history so that we could know and learn better about our glorious history instead of British history.
