Miranda is every girl's dream.
Placements: I was a student of B.A. Multidisciplinary (Political Science and Hindi). Students from my college and department get internships from various reputed government organizations. It includes NITI Aayog, the Ministry of Culture, the Archaeological Survey of India, and think tanks like Manthan. Internships are also available in Madhya Pradesh offices across various verticals. Since the multidisciplinary department is very vast.
Infrastructure: The environment, greenery, red brick buildings, and classrooms. It makes every corner of the campus feel full of spirit, with cats that lighten up the mood. We have a really big library with access to the best study materials, along with specific corners equipped with PCs for differently-abled students. The college canteen is subsidized and serves good food. The Millet Centre also provides good food. We have auditoriums, a medical room, a basketball court, a tennis court, and NCC grounds. Hostel seats are limited and depend on merit and course; it is a privilege to live in the MH hostel.
Faculty: Professors here are highly qualified. Many are often alumni of college. They offer meaningful discussions in classroom. They provide all required study materials. They are easy to approach and understand. The relevance of the curriculum, as it is decided by higher authorities, can be debated, but the professors give their best to help students understand the subjects. Tests are conducted regularly. Group projects, PPT presentations, and reviews are there. They are assigned for learning and evaluation.
Other: Apart from the Annual College Fest Tempest, other events take place throughout the year. There is never a dull day at Miranda, with seminars, MUNs, and engaging events. The crowd is very nice, full of intelligent, creative, and confident young women.

The college provides quality teaching and experience.
Placements: This university does not provide any kind of placements. But it does provide internships under experienced teachers. It helps students gain knowledge and supports them in getting future opportunities. The internship role is mainly an Assistant Professor, which helps students connect more with teachers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned, and Wi-Fi connectivity is good. The library is attractive and contains all kinds of books related to the course. The hostels are well maintained. The food is hygienic and of good quality.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-qualified. They know how to teach and maintain discipline in class. The curriculum is very relevant and helps students become industry-ready. If students focus in class and listen to the teachers, they can easily score well in exams.

Tremendously beautiful, nice exposure, beautiful infrastructure, and good placement and faculty.
Placements: The highest package from my batch is around 13.8 LPA. The lowest package may be around 3 LPA. The average package was 8-9 LPA. The 10% of the students got an order, and the others got government. Job. The rest went for further studies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Miranda house is so aesthetic & beautiful. Wi-Fi is provided. AC labs with all facilities. The library is very peaceful, and all books are provided. You must try the PAM Cafe's burger. The hostel is very beautiful. Privacy is top-notch.
Faculty: Miranda's teacher was very helpful. You can approach them anytime. All teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are moderate. There is not much pressure from exams.
Other: I opted for this course to keep Maths as an optional in UPSC, and this course helps a lot. The crowd in Miranda is super cool. The infrastructure is tremendously beautiful. Yup, you go there, and please give Pam Burger a try. It's very delicious. Events are kept happening. And the annual fest tempest is very entertaining.

Review of Miranda House for the physics department.
Placements: Placements do happen in Miranda, but mostly in maths and economics departments. The highest package offered this year is 24 LPA. In my department, mostly girls go abroad for further studies. Mostly, students get into research and not placements. Placements here are comparatively low because people here get into research and the UPSC. But once students get here, then we will definitely be something in our lives. I would suggest that if placement is students main aim, then they should be active here with e-cell. Top companies like Accenture, Deloitte, EY, and KPMG often participate in the recruitment process.
Infrastructure: The food in the mess might not be up to our taste as everyone misses their home sickness. The canteen is nice and affordable with fine taste. Some dishes are very delicious and are at a low price. The library would stun us. The basketball court and ground in front of the science block are nice. Medical facilities and counselling are available for everything. Girls who are sports enthusiasts can feel empowered every day. The infrastructure of the science block is very nice. It is newly constructed. Mirror, water facilities, and restrooms are also available. The science building is newly constructed and gives a technical feel. Labs and classrooms are fantastic. Some equipment in the lab is old, but overall labs are worth it.
Faculty: Everything here will make us fall in love with Miranda House, as it is the place where we will find comfort and peace. In physics department, professors are top-notch. Some might be annoying, but they have full knowledge of what they are teaching. The attendance is something that can make things difficult for us. We should maintain 67% attendance. End semester exams are conducted smoothly.
Other: Physics here can feel challenging at first because professors expect consistency, but if we attend classes regularly and stay connected with seniors, it becomes much more manageable. Labs are decent, and faculty members are knowledgeable. The crowd pushes us to grow intellectually. One thing I personally liked is how active societies and events are, and it never feels like life is only about assignments. Overall, Physics at Miranda House is rigorous but rewarding, especially if we enjoy the subject beyond just marks, so I chose it.

It's a big campus with beautiful flowers, a garden, MH gives vibes, where women support women.
Placements: I remember, people generally had a misperception that people with a science discipline had greater chances of high placement, but in my batch of 2024, a B.A., a girl with a Prog sociology and history discipline got the highest placement of the batch, around 10 LPA. Almost everyone who applied for the placement got a decent job of around a 5 LPA package with average communication skills.
Infrastructure: Usually, DU colleges did not provide Wi-Fi access to students, or the connection was weak. But in Miranda, students had access to Wi-Fi, library was a legacy for real. It had a digital repository and DRC, where students had free access to computers. Miranda had beautiful infrastructure, other than this, we had a supportive administration unit. Miranda had a hostel facility, mess food was good.
Faculty: You really had to work hard to get good marks on your assignment. They built a good foundation for the future. Secondly, you encountered people with distinct and diverse cultural backgrounds, like Japanese, African, South Indian, etc. So, student exchanged their ideas effectively. Faculty members were also required to publish in journals, articles, and research on a regular basis. The semester exam could be easily dealable if you do PYQ.
Other: They provided a scholarship, the whole fee was refundable. They provided a laptop for poor students. It was a safe place, outsiders were not frequently allowed. The crowd was gentle, peaceful. You can wear anything, people will always cherish you and motivate you. Students with different backgrounds and cultures came to study, enhancing the beauty. College societies made you active in extracurricular activities like sponsorship and marketing. Being a girls' college, girls played a leading role in organizing every task enthusiastically.

It has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: From my batch, many students got placement offers, but some students want to pursue M.Sc in mathematics because of their keen interest in mathematics. Many students from my course got internship opportunities. Some of them got the chance to do a vice chancellor internship, which is a very good internship with a stipend and certificate.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are all good. There is a huge library with a ton of books. In the mess, the food is healthy and pocket-friendly. The hostel is big with beautiful flowers, which makes it even more beautiful. One can surely enjoy their time in Miranda Hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind to students. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students ready to face any kind of competition from anyone in the course. Semester exams are not that difficult, but one must study thoroughly to pass the semester exams. The pass percentage is 33 percent, I guess. Not sure about it.
