B.Sc. in Animation - Batch of 2028
1.4
1Placements2Infrastructure1Faculty2Crowd & Campus Life1Value for Money
Dissatisfied by attitude of HODs and I dont like compulsory attendance.
Placements: Placements are not great, according to our seniors, students should go for off campus placements. College does not bring good companies or positions required. Instead, they ask students to apply for any placement position they are bringing. Some of our seniors are offered sales positions.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure lacks the necessary devices. Animation lab does not have pen tab or paid software like Nuke . Hostel is not good, and it does not provide many facilities like Wi-Fi and hot water. For Animation course, a lot of devices are missing like access to camera, etc.
Faculty: On paper curriculum is good but practically, feels like way off. Exams are good, and are conducted weekly to check on us CT 1, CT 2 and one sem. Even if nothing is taught, you still have to give the exams. Though questions are out of the syllabus or topics are not covered. 75 % attendance feels like a life or death sentence.

It is a good college with appropriate training for placements.
Placements: If you're looking for a course that will help you secure a great job after graduation, the BBC CA program at MIT ACSC Alandi College could be an excellent choice. This college offers outstanding support for students seeking placements and internships with globally recognized multinational companies, as well as small-scale businesses.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is satisfactory but could use some improvements. The classrooms are large, well-ventilated, and filled with natural light. Each classroom is equipped with projectors and speakers. The computer laboratory is well-maintained and has high-performance computers.
Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful and qualified and explain concepts well. The curriculum is mostly relevant and covers essential industry topics through some subject updating. Exams are moderately tough but manageable, with a decent pass percentage.

Cornerstones of academic excellence: a review of the college faculty.
Placements: College placement is a crucial phase in a student's academic journey, marking the transition from education to professional life. It serves as a platform where students showcase their skills, knowledge, and potential to prospective employers. The placement process typically involves multiple stages, including pre-placement talks, aptitude tests, group discussions, technical grounds, and personal interviews. These stages assess a candidate's technical expertise, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability. A strong placement record reflects the quality of education and training provided by an institution. College often collaborates with companies to understand industry demands and design programs that equip students with relevant skills.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure plays a pivotal role in shaping the overall learning experience of students and creating an environment conducive to academic and personal growth. A well-designed campus with state-of-the-art facilities not only enhances education but also fosters creativity, innovation, and holistic development. Classrooms equipped with modern teaching aids like projectors, smart boards, etc. are there.
Faculty: College faculty play a vital role in shaping students' academic, professional, and personal development. As educators, mentors, and guides, they are instrumental in delivering knowledge, fostering critical thinking, and inspiring lifelong learning. Faculty members are not only responsible for imparting subject-specific knowledge but also for nurturing skills like problem-solving, communication, and teamwork. A college's faculty typically comprises professors, associate professors, assistant professors, and lecturers, each contributing to the institution's academic excellence. Their expertise, qualifications, and teaching methods significantly impact the quality of education. Experienced and well-trained faculty ensure that students grasp fundamental concepts and stay updated with advancements.
Other: Good.

Bachelor of commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2025

My college journey from nothing to something.
Placements: On average, every year 60 to 70% of students get placed. The highest package was 7.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture, etc. On average, 70% of students get internships from the college in the internship program. The roles that the companies offer are managerial positions.
Infrastructure: There are enough infrastructure facilities provided by the college from a student's perspective. The college has provided Wi-Fi on every floor of the building. There are different classrooms for every course, and different computer labs and chemical labs for students from different streams. There is a big library.
Faculty: The faculty members in the college are helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They have the knowledge of their subject and are always supportive of the students. This course is relevant as B.Com is the most affordable and easy string for those who are not good in academics but want to achieve something in life.
Other: I chose this course as this was an easy way for me to enter the finance corporate world.

Satisfied only with the faculty members else everything needs to be improved.
Placements: Placement opportunities for MIT ACSC graduates are not very good. Out of all the students who went for placement, only 2-3 students got placed, with an average salary of 3.5 Lacs per annum. The highest salary offered was 4.5 Lacs. Also, only a few companies like Delloite and HDFC Bank were among the big recruiters, and they did not select any B.Com students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college needs to be renovated, as there are cracks all around the building. The library is good, with books and journals related to every topic. The hostel is not on campus but rather 700 meters away, and the facilities are not as good as promised in the prospectus. They charge INR 80,000 per year just for a room and a lift, and most of the lifts get stuck. Also, they say they provide laundry services, but after paying the amount, we found out that they just give you the number of a laundry person to whom we have to pay money.
Faculty: The faculty for the B.Com course are great. They are always available to help with any small thing, and they take the time to explain things clearly. However, they give assignments 10 days before the semester exams, which doesn't give students enough time to study for the exams.
Other: I attended MIT ACSC. The campus is very small, and there is no playground or other areas for students to enjoy themselves. There is a good canteen that serves good food, but that is about it.

About the college: the teaching staff is good.
Placements: The MIT ACS is a very good college. The placement is very good, with the average package being 4-5 LPA. Companies like TCS and others are the top recruiters. Placement statistics, internship opportunities, and top roles offered vary significantly between courses and institutions. To get accurate and specific information for a particular course, I recommend visiting the official website of the college or department, contacting the placement cell, or speaking with current students or alumni. General resources like college ranking websites or online forums can also provide some insights into placement trends and employers' preferences.
Infrastructure: The quality of facilities and infrastructure varies depending on the specific college and department. Some common features include Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and libraries, although the quality and availability of these resources can differ. Hostel facilities, food quality, medical services, sports, and games also vary. Some students report positive experiences with clean and comfortable hostels, while others express satisfaction with the quality of food or limited recreational options. It's important to research specific colleges and departments to get a better understanding of the facilities and infrastructure available.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and well-educated. Some students report that teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, while others find that the quality of teaching varies. The curriculum is generally relevant to industry standards, but some feel it could be more up-to-date. Semester exams are considered moderately difficult, and the pass percentage varies depending on the course and semester. Thanks.
Other: I have chosen B.Sc. in Computer Science because, in this course, students get the opportunity to be hired by good companies.
