No, The hostel facility is optional and it depends on your choice to live there or not. In hostel, you must behave well and ragging is unacceptable. All hostellers should follow the no outsider entry rule which includes their parents and relatives as well. Entrance GATE is closed at 10pm and after that no one is allowed to move out. The hostel days are very enjoying for most of the students, people make a lot of connections there and some special bondings will develop within those premises, so, don't miss it.

Focus on your academics and try to maintain a good CGPA in intitial years so that you have to worry less in the upcoming years. Don't be introvert in college, try to meet as many people in the people as you can, just go and talk, if the vibe matches, make him/her your friend and talk continuously and repititively. Join atleast 2 clubs to increase your connections with your batchmates as well as seniors. Stay away from toxic people, you will meet a lot of toxic people, those who are jealous of everyone, those who do backbitching behind people, those who don't do anything and abuse others for their own failures, those who have bad natural habits. Don't get influence by those people who says marks is not important, because it's all a lie to stop others from growing. People literally want you to get down, if they see you happy they will try to its part or get jealous of it and try to ruin it.

Food preferences are subjective, and what one person considers good may not be the same for another. Some students may find the mess food satisfactory, while others may have different opinions based on their personal taste and expectations. To get the most accurate and up-to-date information about the mess food at MIT Institute of Design, I recommend reaching out to current students or visiting the campus during an open day or admission-related event. Speaking directly with students who are currently using the mess facilities can provide you with firsthand insights into their experiences and satisfaction with the food.Additionally, some colleges have student forums or groups on social media platforms where students discuss various aspects of campus life, including mess food. Joining such groups or forums could give you a broader range of opinions and experiences related to the mess food at MITID.Ultimately, the food and dining experience at any educational institution can be subjective and may differ from person to person. It's essential to keep an open mind and explore various dining options available on and around the campus to find what suits your preferences best.
