Candidates must have a complete 2 years master’s programme after 3 years of bachelor’s degree or 1 year Master's programme after 4 years of bachelor’s degree declared equivalent to the master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body with mentioned marks in aggregate. 5% relaxation in the required percentage of marks will be given to the students belonging to DTNT/SBC/Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories.
Candidate seeking admission after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree programme should have a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed. A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) are also eligible to apply.
Integrated M Tech or one year Master degree after four year UG are also eligible to apply.
Candidates who have completed the M.Phil. programme with at least 55% overall marks, or its equivalent grade on a point scale wherever grading is used, or equivalent qualification from a foreign educational institution accredited by an assessment and accreditation agency that is approved, recognised or authorised by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country, or any other statutory authority in that country to assess, accredit candidates.
Senior citizens with master’s degree may also apply.
