Review of MVIT - Manakula Vinayagar Institute of Technology.
Placements: In our college, each year, 98% of students will get placed.
INR 12 LPA is the highest package, and INR 6 LPA is the lowest package. The top recruiting companies are Cognizant, Wipro Southerland, TCS, and IBM. At present, in our department's final year, one student got an internship from TCS. The top role offered is that of software engineer.
Infrastructure: In our department, we have the best infrastructure, like free Wi-Fi for all the students, and we have computer labs in every department. In our library, we have all types of books, and they include all the subjects. Each week, magazines are updated. Each year, there are many technical events like scimit, mitilance, and cultural events called elan.
Faculty: The staff in our college for all departments is well experienced in their own field; all have completed their Masters or Ph.D. in their own field, and every staff member is very friendly and can clear doubts whenever we need them. We have placement training every week, beginning in the second year, to prepare students for the workforce. The semester is easy; we can get a pass easily; the pass percentage is 50. 25 marks are internal, which are given by our staff.
Other: I chose this course out of my own interest. Because this course is about future technology, it includes the internet of things, cyber security, and technology. I would like to improve to give practical knowledge to the students. Tech fests like Scimit, Mitilance, and Cultural Elan are organized.
