Absolutely satisfied with faculty and college infrastructure. Really good placements.

Placements: As compared to other government medical colleges, it has a comparatively good patient inflow rate. Faculty is also very good and it feels like the students will have a promising future. The pay during internship is around 32-35 K which as compared to other parts in the country is better. Job placements solely depends on the merit of the students.

Infrastructure: Classrooms could have been better. The projector placement could have been better. College toilets are not very hygienic. Microphone sometimes stop working. The college building is very beautiful and the campus is very spacious and clean. Hostels has ample space for all the 4 batches residing here. Hostels are periodically cleaned. There is separate hostel for interns and UG students. Hostel food is average, RO filters are provided for drinking.

Faculty: Yes teachers are highly qualified and very helpful. Apart from studies, mentor - mentee groups arr formed wherein the professors help the students not in just academic aspects but also any other informal members where one on one attention is given. Exams are held according to the direction of the Srimanta Sankardeva University of Health Sciences. The course is divided semester wise. The faculty members are very strict with attendance and failing to reach 75% attendance in theory and 80% attendance in practical might debar the students from sitting in exams. Exams can be termed as of moderate difficult.

Other: I chose this course because I wanted to be a doctor. As this field makes one financially secure and there was no doctor in my family. This course offers students a wide range of topics from the human body which if we divulge into deeper might result in new discoveries. As of events, college fest and college week is held annually. Quizzes and other such events take place time to time.

Candidate must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually and must have obtained mentioned percentage taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology. In respect of PwBD candidates as per NMC and DCI Regulations, the minimum marks in the qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (or Botany & Zoology)/Biotechnology taken together shall be 40% instead of 50%. Candidates who have passed Class 12 from Open School or as private candidates shall not be eligible to appear for the ‘National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test’. However, this has been a subject matter of challenge before the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi, Hon’ble High Court of Allahabad, Lucknow Bench, and Hon’ble High Court of Madhya Pradesh at Jabalpur. Result awaited candidates can also apply,he/she shall not be eligible for admission to the Undergraduate Medical Courses if he/she does not pass the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage at the time of first round of Counselling.
