I am satisfied with its teaching quality, but not satisfied with placements.

Placements: Around 30-40% of students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. TCS and Ultratech were the top recruiting companies. Many students changed their roles in the IT industry. C and C+ knowledge were given to the students which helped them in the future.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was not up to the mark. Canteen and mess need to be improved. Sports and co-curriculum activities must be improved. Wi-Fi was not enabled. Sports facilities were not good, and medical facilities were average.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful and knowledgeable. The pass percentage was 90%. Semester exams were conducted well. If students study properly, and attend the lectures daily then they can score good marks. Our course curriculum was well-structured, and the teaching quality was good.

Other: Placements cell need to be improved. Our campus life was not great.

Civil department of this college is very good.

Placements: The T&P Cell provides ample opportunities for the students to develop their personalities by conducting training programs regularly on communication skills and soft skills. They have added Soft Skill & Aptitude Sessions in the daily timetable for all the classes. They have three full-time soft skill trainers and one aptitude trainer. Training activities are organized throughout the year in an effort to prepare prospective students for the campus selection process. Training & Placement Cell makes the students industry-ready candidates. The cell is well-equipped with generous infrastructure in terms of seminar halls, meeting hall for pre-placement talk, presentations, interview, GD cabins etc.

Infrastructure: The institute is well-equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, laboratories, smart classrooms, workshops to meet today's global needs. The well-organized library consists of leading National and International periodicals and Research Journals along with a huge collection of books which is accessible 24x7 to the students. NKOCET has highly qualified and experienced faculty members who are committed to creating a congenial student friendly environment.

Faculty: NKOCET is known for its strong teaching-learning process where lot of precedence is given to practical and real knowledge acquisition. The Institute has been a leader in academics with effective teaching-learning pedagogy, which has produced many university rankers. The institute is renowned for its academic excellence as every year, almost 50 percent university rankers are from NKOCET. The institute has not only made its mark in the affiliated university through excellent academic results but also left its footprints in the top-notch MNCs by placing competent engineers.

Other: Best college for engineering purpose. Value for money.

Our college is famous for its discipline, but internally it has to be improved.

Placements: At least 10% of the students get placed from the civil course. The highest salary package offered in our college is 3.6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.2 LPA. Our college provides internships for every student in different software companies online. Maximum roles offered are software skills based and leadership sight supervision.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is fine, but it has to improve labs as per improvement in technology and market conditions. Wi-Fi should also be provided because now complete study depends on the internet. So sometimes in the lab, we have been told to see videos of practicals because the equipment can't work in the lab, and there is poor speed of internet. The hostel is average, but they have to take care of it. Most of the time, there is an issue with water and toilets because of low maintenance. Canteens are fine, but the quality of food served is not good. The taste and quantity of food do not have value for money.

Faculty: Faculty members here are the best, and most of them are PhD holders. They are experienced with more than 10 years. The course curriculum is relevant. All question papers are designed by DBATU University. They are not much hard, but the supervision of faculty members during exams is very strict. For students who want to copy in exams, our college is not good.

In this college, Wi-Fi is not provided and staff behavior is rude.

Placements: Around 35% of students are placed in our course. The lowest salary package offered is 1.2 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 3.8 LPA. Ultratech CementCement, TCS, Wipro, etc., are top recruiting companies. Around 15% of students get internships this year. The top role offered is an assistant engineer in Ultratech and as an employee in TCS and Wipro.

Infrastructure: All the requirements for college students are present on campus, and there are very good classes and good library facilities. Wi-Fi facility is not provided in this college, which is a disadvantage for students. Quality of the campus and hostel is very good. I would rate 5 out of 5, and also the canteen is good and I would rate 3.5 out of 5.

Faculty: All the teachers are M.Tech and the best knowledgeable staff. The teaching quality is good, but the staff is very rude, but no compromise in study and paper is strict in this college. It makes the student's industry-ready. Semester exam's level of difficulty is medium.

N. K. Orchid College of Engineering & Technology, Solapur

Placements: The placement in the college is best amongst the other colleges present in Solapur, as it is known for its placement. The percentage-wise placement is less, but everybody gets a fair opportunity. The average package would be 5 LPA. Although civil engineering has less placement, we can look after government exams, and the top roles that can be offered there are civil engineer.

Infrastructure: The expenditure on infrastructure is good, and it has got NAAC A+ grade recently. The facilities provided are good, and classrooms are well maintained. It has a special library section to get the books. The hostel facility is also good, but as I'm a day scholar, I don't know much about hostel life. Games and sports activities are not regular but do happen.

Faculty: The faculty teaching is very experienced and well-behaved. They have excellent knowledge in their respective fields, but teaching could be improved, in my opinion. The course curriculum is related, and it has a drawback that it does not make students industry-ready; we have to acquire skills ourselves. The semester exams are moderately difficult.

Other: My batch is 2023, and the reason I chose this course is my interest in the related course. The best thing about my course is that it is a core branch. Events in the college are well organized, and the campus does look sometimes crowded as it is surrounded by a village. We can apply for scholarships, and extracurricular activities are all taken care of by the college.
