NKOCET provides project-based learning, and workshops that build real-world industry skills.

Placements: Around 60% of CSE students were placed in the 2025 batch. Previously, placement rates were higher (80%) for earlier batches. Reddit was the top recruiting company in which more than 15 students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 10.5 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 1.7 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3-4 LPA. Recruiters visiting CSE placements included TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, TIAA, Virtusa, and others.

Infrastructure: The CSE department has 5 dedicated classrooms and about 10 well-equipped labs with desktops from Dell, HP, and Lenovo. They run on UPS backup, connected with legal licensed software (Oracle, Visual Studio, Linux, MS. Office, etc.

Faculty: The majority of faculty members hold advanced qualifications (M.Tech or Ph.D. and are experienced in both academics and industry applications. Students and alumni describe them as knowledgeable, qualified, and subject experts. Faculty members are knowledgeable about their respective subjects and are experts in their fields.

Other: NKOCET emphasizes project-based learning, industrial visits, guest lectures, and skill-building workshops. This help students transition smoothly into professional roles.

Decent institution with qualified, supportive faculty; good opportunities for motivated students.

Placements: Around 40% of the students are placed, while a few of them focus on competitive exams. The highest package was 3 lakh per annum, with the lowest being 10,000 per month for internships. The average package rounds up to 1.5-2 lakh per annum, with Aqua Chill and a few other companies. Around 60% of students got opportunities for internships, and 4 students from my batch, including me, got opportunities for international internships under a student exchange program in collaboration with La Fondation Dassault Systèmes.

Infrastructure: The college has digital classrooms, highly educated and experienced faculty (most of them hold PhDs in various mechanical domains), a fully equipped Solar Research Lab, CAD labs, workshops, including CNC, 3D printing, automobile lab, and HVAC lab. The hostel is of good quality, with all resources provided. Mess and canteen facilities are on campus with average to good food quality. Sports and gym facilities are also available.

Faculty: The faculty consists of highly educated and experienced professionals, with most of them holding PhDs in various mechanical domains. They bring deep knowledge and practical experience to help students understand complex concepts effectively. This institute is affiliated with DBATU University and recently received autonomous status.

Other: The best thing about this course is that we get the chance to work with dynamic teams on various projects, including SUPRA car development for the SAEINDIA competition, working on drones, and many more under research in solar or other domains. The Solar Research Centre helps a lot during the process.

I'm dissatisfied with the placements.

Placements: Around 80 students out of 120 got placed in some MNCs but didn't get a joining date. Our college didn't have any industry connections regarding our branch so students were unemployed.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was good. All the facilities like labs, classrooms, and library were good but not sufficient. The mess didn't serve healthy and hygienic food. Medical issues were provided to students.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college were knowledgeable but didn't teach well. They were forced to teach another subject because of politics.

Other: I chose this course because of its scope in the industry and provided vast application in day-to-day life.

The teachers were extremely well qualified but somehow the teaching was not that good.

Placements: Some of the companies that visited our campus are Capgemini, Wipro, L&T, Deutsche Bank, Citi Group, Societe General, KPIT, PwC, Microsoft, Amazon, Ola and many others. N. K. ORCHID is the best college to get placed in MNCs and also core companies.

Infrastructure: The college also has well-equipped labs, sports facilities, a playground, library, ATM, and bank services. The college provides hostel facility, and the quality of food served in the hostel is good, better than IIT food sometimes. Multiple sports ground with proper facilities and coaching are there for students. Quality and taste of food is acceptable. The variety of food offered is also good with proper hygiene maintained during cooking.

Faculty: The course curriculum is excellent here, and some faculty members are also good. In my opinion, the course curriculum is very useful in different companies related to respective fields. The percentage of passing is 80.

Other: College events are conducted every 2-3 months.

It has good teachers, labs and equipment, but placements are less than in previous years.

Placements: The batch of 2021 had very few job opportunities as compared to the previous year due to Covid. Still, the institute has tried its best to provide opportunities in companies such as IDBI, Fukoku, LHP, PinClick, TCS, Infosys, etc. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA, and a few companies are yet to come.

Infrastructure: The campus has Wi-Fi, but students have to register their devices to use it. Labs are well-equipped and are maintained properly. The library is also good enough, and it also provides a book bank scheme. The college has sports equipment, but it has not been maintained properly. The canteen food is average.

Faculty: The college has the best teaching quality, and the faculty members are highly qualified with many years of experience. Many of them also have industrial experience and are also PhD holders. Many activities are conducted to make students industry-ready, and many workshops and other activities are also organised for students to get practical knowledge. The college has been affiliated with DBATU, so the exam pattern has changed and is difficult enough. The exam pattern is designed to give equal weightage to all the chapters of each subject, and the courses are also designed properly. Still, it needs some improvements.

In the year 2014 to 2018, placements were good and maximum.

Placements: Computer science, mechanical and civil branch students got placed, and the remaining branches are doing better to get placements. Students also improve their language and skills. In our college, teachers are taking interviews to overcome students in the upcoming offers and jobs.

Infrastructure: Labs are better in all branches. There are Wi-Fi and a library. In the canteen, the food served is great. Our college is helpful by keeping rules of ragging. If any student is misbehaving or any other thing happens, then they would be removed from the college.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and they pay attention to every student. The course is better, and the teaching quality is also excellent. Industry trips are very good, and our college has a bus facility to pick up students from home. After college, all buses are ready to drop students at their destination.

Other: Extracurricular activities are conducted on the campus, and the surroundings are also clean.

Really good teaching style and teachers and good environment for study.

Placements: Placement opportunities are good. All the softskill teacher help the students who are weak in particular area. Companies that comes for drive are well reputed. Some of the companies are multi national company. More chances of selection students can get.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is well. Well labs are provided with useful instruments adn the trainer is good to explain about each and every doubt in our mind. The teaching method is excellent. Other activities like games and competition is organised in our college also encourage students to do participate into those as well as for the coordinator.

Faculty: The faculty members are good to explain about our each and every questions in our mind. They are very friendly and helping in nature. They are like our friends. Those faculty members helps the students to grow. They motivates us regarding career. And also they arrange the session regards the career.

I am dissatisfied because of the faculty, good placements, good price structure, and the facilities.

Placements: Our college tires with MNC companies and startup company freshers can get easily jobs in the last year of graduation. The placement is very secure. The salary package offered is 3 LPA. The salary package offered for freshers is 6 LPA. One of the packages of our college is 10.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very awesome. The hostel facility is available for girls and boys. The hostel is very secure and awesome. In our college, there are two hostels for boys and girls. There are separate hostels and images also provided by the college.

Faculty: Our college faculty members are very good. They are friendly. They give good knowledge to students.

Other: In college, my batch is very good. All got a job in the last year of graduation. In our college, the sports day and rainbow function are a celebration and also celebrates the freshers party the students very enjoy and concentrate study.
