No, the application window for NID Bangalore MDes admissions 2025 is not open. The institute started accepting applications for admission to the current academic year (2025-26) in September. The application window remained open till December.

No, the application window for NID Bangalore MDes admissions 2025 is not open. The institute started accepting applications for admission to the current academic year (2025-26) in September. The application window remained open till December. The last date to apply for admission was Dec 6, 2025 (extended). Currently, the institute is conducting the seat allocation process for the MDes programme. The academic year is set to commence on June 30, 2025.

The admission to the programme is purely based on the applicants' merit in the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) conducted by NID. The test comprsies two stages: prelims and mains. Candidates shortlisted after the first stage qualify for the second stage. The final merit list is based on the applicants' performance in both the stages.
