Valid OBC NCL CertificateGeneral Validity The general validity of an OBC NCL certificate will depend on the Central or State Government from which it has been issued. Traditionally, certificates issued by the Central Government are valid for a period of one year, whereas State Government-issued certificates are valid for three years. Since your certificate is valid until 2026, you probably received it from the State Government.Usage in Admission: Most institutions, including NID, may accept this OBC NCL certificate for their admission process on the assumption that it is still valid at the time of admission. Your certificate is valid until 2026; that means you should, in theory, be eligible to use it for admission in 2024, assuming there are no particular additional special requirements in terms of age or date of issuance set by NID.
