Yes, you can apply for the National Institute of Fashion Technology entrance exam as the eligibility criteria say students appearing in class 12 or pass class 12 from any discipline can apply for BDes and students from the Science stream can apply for Bachelor in fashion technology. On the basis of Academic Qualification, eligibility: If a candidate is in Class 12/final year of college/final year of Diploma and does not submit the examination result at the time of admission or counselling, his/her admission depends on the following conditions: - Candidate below 18 years of age has to submit an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper of INR10 in the prescribed Proforma duly signed by the parent/guardian. Submission of a false document is a punishable offence. Candidates have to submit their qualifying degree to the campus director or joint director of the allotted college on or before a date to be announced soon. In case a candidate fails to submit his/her qualifying degree at the time of admission, his/her admission will be considered null and void.

NIFT lateral entry admission provides an opportunity of NIFT education to candidates who have completed their Diploma/Degree in relevant / related fields of Fashion Design & Technology for direct admission to the third semester of UG programmes of NIFT at NIFT campuses as listed in Annexure III. The candidates who have acquired Diploma/Degree will compete at an All India Entrance Exam to get lateral admission in the 3rd semester of UG programmes of NIFT. The cutoff for BDes in Textile Design at NIFT Bangalore is 701 for the year 2022. Admission to the BDes Textile Design programme is entrance based. Candidates are required to appear for NIFT Entrance Exam. NIFT cutoff depends on variables like seat matrix, category of the candidate, total applications, category, Common Merit Rank (CMR) of the candidate in NIFT 2023, and the popularity (or ranking) of the institute. A. The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) released the NIFT 2023 answer key on February 22, 2023. The question paper for NIFT 2023 was also be released alongside the answer key. Candidates were also able to challenge the answer key and question paper on payment of a non-refundable fee of INR 500 (per observation/objection). The feedback given by the candidate against the draft key is used by exam officials to prepare the final keys. The final answer key contains the correct and official keys for questions asked in the NIFT exam.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Bangalore offers a Master of Design (M.Des) program.
