NIELIT Ajmer: Courses, Fees, Admission 2025, Placements, Cutoff

NIELIT offers a total of 16 UG Diploma courses. NIELIT Ajmer courses across the UG Diploma level range from a duration of 350 to 1598 hours.  Some of the UG Diploma courses at NIELIT Ajmer are Advanced Diploma in Computer Hardware Maintenance and Networking (CHM - A Level ), Diploma in Multimedia and Animation Technology (O Level), and others. The selection process for these programmes is mentioned below:

• Admission to long-term courses is conducted through NIELIT entrance exam

• The application mode is completely online

• Students must have passed in all the subjects in CBSE class 12th.

Both NIELIT are affiliated with the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology. While NIELIET Chennai offers 7 courses in 2 streams, NIELET Ajmer offers 19 courses across 2 streams. NIELET Ajmer offers courses across Electronics, Computer Science and Information Technology and related disciplines while NIELIT Chennai courses are offered in Information Electronics and Communication Technology (IECT) viz. VLSI Design, Embedded System, Networking, Information Security, and IT Applications. The infrastructural facilities of both the colleges include lab and library.  Admission to long-term courses to both the courses is conducted through NIELIT entrance exam. So, the choice from either of the colleges can depend on the choices and preferences of the students.

The fee structure for the Certificate courses at NIELIT Ajmer starts from Rs. 125 for Appreciation of Digital Literacy (Level 1) course up till Rs. 33,000 for NIELIT A Level (Part Time).On the other hand, the fee structure at NIELIT Chennai begins at Rs. 700 for a certificate course called Online Summer Internship on IoT using Arduino and ESP8266 and goes as high as Rs. 35,594 for a PG Diploma course called Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science and Analytics (NSQF Level - 8). The higher fee structure lies on the NIELIT Chennai’s part which makes NIELIT Chennai slightly more expensive than NIELIT Ajmer.

NIELIT Ajmer offers certificate and UG Diploma courses. Students have an on-campus facility of labs and library. Students can go to the library to issue a book of their choice. The library is well-equipped with books of all subjects. The institute also has a hostel facility with round the clock security services. The hostel rooms are spacious and comfortable and the food of the mess is also healthy and tasty. NIELIT Ajmer also has an e-learning platform that is based on collaborative working, creativity, multidisciplinarity, adaptiveness, intercultural communication and problem solving, has taken on an important role in everyday life.

Admission to long-term courses at NIELIT Ajmer is conducted through the NIELIT entrance exam. NIELIT stands for the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology. Along with meeting the eligibility criteria, students seeking admissions in the long term courses at NIELIT Ajmer courses must clear the NIELIT entrance exam.  NIELIT Exam is conducted at the national level by the institute itself as the exam conducting body. The NIELIT exam is conducted every year for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses under the titles as Non-Formal Courses - O Level, A Level, B Level and C Level. The NIELIT exam is being held twice a year, probably in January and July.
