Review of Nirmala College, Muvattupuzha.
Placements: Companies like Amazon and SBI, etc., visited the campus for placements. Many other IT companies also visited the campus for placements. But the salaries offered by them were very low especially the IT companies. So most of the students quit their jobs. No one cleared the test conducted by SBI for placements.
Infrastructure: The college has a well-advanced library. There is a drinking water facility on every floor. The college provides free Wi-Fi facility. The quality of the food served in the canteen is good. There is a store available within the campus. There is a waiting room for ladies. There are various sports facilities. The college also provides the hostel facility. There are reading rooms and PG classrooms along with digital aids. We also have a free network research centre.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very good. They are well qualified and helpful, especially for our higher studies. Most of the teachers were PhD holders. The quality of teaching was excellent. Our college also conducts a feedback session to get to know the quality of teachers. So we get an opportunity to express our opinion regarding their teaching quality without any fear. They also provide knowledge apart from the syllabus.
Other: Campus surroundings were excellent and eco-friendly. We also have a separate department for both self-financing and aided courses. Events like college day, arts day, talent day, sports day, and commerce fest, etc., were conducted only for students.
