My OBC-NCL rank is 42847. Can I get into NIT Puducherry under home state quota for mechanical engineering?

With home state, you can easily get it . Home state cut off is much lower in NIT Puducherry. Good luck

Both the NITs are good and well reputed colleges. Its not about metallurgy, ECE, or EEE. It's about in which field you want to build your career.
