GNA University cannot match the placement offered by NIT Jalandhar. When comparing GNA University to other national institutes, NIT Jalandhar is unquestionably more reputable both domestically and globally. The ability to draw in famous recruiters and command higher average compensation may be advantageous for NIT graduates as a result. Compared to GNA University, NIT Jalandhar has a more developed alumni network and greater ties to the industry. Better placement possibilities may result from having more access to internship and job-shadowing opportunities.When compared to GNA University, NIT Jalandhar's fees are often much lower. NIT Jalandhar may be a better choice if placements are the main goal, taking into account the ROI (Return on Investment).

NIT Sikkim application process varies from course to course. The application process of BTech, MTech, and MSc is done via the official website of their respective entrance exams JEE Main, GATE, and Jam, followed by applying for the counselling bodies of JoSAA (BTech), CCMT (MTech), and CCMN (MSc). As for the PhD programme, candidates must apply via the NIT Sikkim official website by filling the online appplication form available online. Additionally, the institution conducts IAT (Institute Admission Test) for admission to the MTech/MSc vacant seats after the completion of the course-wise counseling process.

The total fee for the BTech programme at NIT Sikkim is INR 49,500. Total fee is calculated based on annual/ semester fee available for the academic year, hence is indicative. ST/SC & PH students are fully exempted from paying tuition fees, while the most economically backward students (whose family income is less than INR 1 Lacs per annum) are granted full remission of the tuition fee. Other economically backward students, whose family income falls between INR 1 Lacs to 5 Lacs per annum, are granted a remission of 2/3rd of the tuition fee.

NIT Sikkim admission procedure 2025 for all the courses is different. Candidates have to apply via various national level entrance exam and central counselling to get admission into the institute. Find below NIT Sikkim admission process 2025:Candidates seeking admission at NIT Sikkim are required to complete the application form for the course-specific entrance exam. After appearing for the respective entrance exams, candidates have to apply for the counselling process for the final seat allotment.For its flagship BTech course, NIT Sikkim admits students with a valid JEE Main score and are allotted seats through JoSAA Counselling. Admission to M.Tech is done through GATE, followed by CCMT Counselling. Similarly for MSc admission, IIT JAM and CCMN Counselling are required. However, PhD admission requires to appear in the Institution entrance exam and PI. Additionally, NIT Sikkim conducts IAT (Institute Admission Test), for admission to the left-over seats from the CCMN and CCMNT counselling for MSc/MTech.The cutoff for BTech, MTech, and MSc courses is released by the respective counselling bodies.The shortlisted candidates are then required to pay the admission fee to confirm their seats.

The average package is around 5-6 Lacs per annum, with some students receiving higher packages, such as 18 Lacs per annum in the Electrical Engineering department.
