The faculty teaching system is good and understanding.

Faculty: The curriculum is designed in such a way that it helps students to understand all the basic concepts along with higher-level information. The syllabus includes the topics that are important for competitive exams such as CSIR NET JRF, GATE, etc. Along with theoretical knowledge, emphasis is also given to real-world practical application through projects, dissertations, internships, etc. The exams are conducted frequently, which helps to keep our brains active. The exams are not very difficult, bu...

Climate of Ravangla, Sikkim, is very pleasant.

Faculty: For me, it seems okay. But the question that comes in exams is mostly moderate to difficult. Teaching methods sometimes need to change because they need to understand that all students are not same and to bring them on one page, they need to change their teaching style. The whole semester contains only exam, exam, and exam.

NIT Sikkim Review on different aspects

Faculty: Will say it's really hectic. The curriculum for BTECH is to do all the things including theory, practical, viva, mid-term, and end-term exams and projects in the final year as well. Almost 5-6 hours of daily classes and 2 mid-term exams will be there with one end-term. But this is more or less the same in all other IITs and NITs as well. So you can't complain about it.

College Experience in NIT Sikkim.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are all Ph.D. or post doc. So, all faculty are qualified, and their way of teaching is also quite good. The course curriculum is like for GATE. The course curriculum is such that there are heavy theoretical subjects and also interesting numerical-solving subjects.

Completely satisfied with faculty and campus life.

Faculty: The faculty and staff at NIT Sikkim are supportive and helpful in nature. With the exception of 1-2 individuals, all teach well. If you're a good student, you won't encounter any issues with the teaching methodology. If you face challenges in any topic, faculty members also allow you to ask for personal assistance within the department.

We have good placement. Good companies are visiting like C-DAC, C-DOT, BEL,etc.

Faculty: Due to our remote area, we don't have much faculty, and we are having problems getting good knowledge. One teacher has to teach many other subjects. And in some branches, it is very difficult to cross the 8 CGPA mark. We almost have all of the tools we need for practical purposes. Just because we don't have a permanent campus right now, we are having all labs in a small area.

It is a good and beautiful college.

Faculty: All teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. The quality of the teaching is above average. The course curriculum is good. The pass percentage is a bit less. All teachers are very supportive.

You will not be satisfied by campus life but it's okay because you get good placement here.

Faculty: Some faculty members are too strict but most of the faculty members are helping, some are USA return too. Course curriculum for EEE is not relevant because combining both electrical and electronics it became too huge syllabus to cover so we just need to study, attend class or to do assignment all the times. Even semester exams are not that much hard but neither on easier side. Pass percentage is 75% to get eligible for placement.

Improvements are needed.

Faculty: Semester exams are not too difficult, however during the pandemic, it was difficult to study via online mode. 100% is the pass percentage. The internships have helped us to gain practical knowledge for working in the industry. The course curriculum is standard NET and GATE based, however some parts are somewhat irrelevant.

The college lacks opportunities and facilities.

Faculty: The college doesn't have much-qualified faculty members. Mostly, teachers preferred PPT. Course curriculum is some what relevant but mostly, it is useless. Semester exams are based on what was taught in class and can be cleared with basic preparations. Students should score at least 40%.

Overall, placements are amazing here.

Faculty: In NIT Sikkim, teachers are very helpful and clear all doubts in the classroom. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. This course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. There is a very tough exam pattern in every semester. In one semester, there are three exams. Approximately 100% of students pass every semester.

Everything is good in this college.

Faculty: All faculty members are Ph.D. holders from top colleges, and they are experts in their teaching careers. All course curriculum is set like top IITs and students will get knowledge as most industries are required these days and students have to study properly to get good marks in the semester. The pass percentage is 35%.

Review of NIT Sikkim - National Institute of Technology.

Faculty: The faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable. NIT Sikkim also has a super computer named Param Kanchenjunga at campus, and the campus progressed a lot in the past 5 years (2016-2021). The professors are very good and cooperative and knowledgeable. The institution is good for harnessing resources and country's human resource enhancement.
