College is good, and you will get exposure from this college.

Infrastructure: Laboratories for each branch are provided. Wi-Fi is established all over the campus. All classrooms have digital boards as well as whiteboards with full air conditioning. Hostels are quite average in 1st, 2nd, 3rd years, one has to share the room with 4 other students. In the final year, students are allotted a single room according to CGPA. Food quality is average medical facilities are good. Sports grounds are well-maintained, and all games are available here.

Review of NIT Srinagar Chemical Engineering and overall placement rate.

Infrastructure: The facilities of the classroom and library are at the top level. Everything is working and is advanced. There are a total 5-6 persons in one room in the boys hostel. The quality of food in the mess is better than that in many private colleges. There are full medical facilities and sports and games are also available for the students as well as for the professors.

Good placements in the tech with decent faculty members. Best branches are IT and Mechanical.

Infrastructure: Facilities, I would say, are good compared to other colleges. There is a two-floor library where every book is available. You can study there for the whole day, the library is newly built. There is Wi-Fi everywhere, but the speed is very low, so you can't use that Wi-Fi. Classrooms are decent, 2-4 wall AC, smart board, etc. In hostel the mess food is very decent and sometimes very bad. The medical centre here is quite good it is available 24/7 a doctor is there during the daytime.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was somewhat average. The labs were not so great. However the classrooms and library were very good. The quality of the hostel, food, and other facilities was up to the mark with IITs. The Wi-Fi in the campuses could do better. Labs needed to be up to date.

I am highly satisfied with my college.

Infrastructure: The campus is good as it is situated on the banks of the Dal Lake. The classrooms are well organised, and Wi-Fi is also available. There is also a library with more than 5,000 books in it. The hostel is average, and the mess food is also average. There is a medical unit and a playground.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty and good placement records.

Infrastructure: They provided good facilities such as 24/7 Wi-Fi services. But the region of this college experiences very cold winters. We don't need any air conditioning in labs and libraries, every day in a year is a cold day. For South Indians, it was found to be difficult to survive here with their food.

A decent college despite the location.

Infrastructure: Hostels are very crowded with 5 people in one room and have many problems. The rainy season is literally ***. There will be water everywhere, the drainage is very poor, Wi-Fi is very bad, but you will get ethernet, but most of the sites will be block and the food quality is trash. Labs are quite good.

The college is worth it with the right mindset, NIT Srinagar can launch you to a strong career.

Infrastructure: The department has state-of-the-art labs including VLSI Lab, Optical Fiber Communication Lab, Image Processing Lab, Information and Network Security Lab, Biometric Lab, and Machine Learning Lab. Hostels are quite well equipped with good Wi-Fi availability and 4 students per room. Every student is provided with a study table and a chair. The food quality is good too, with a well-planned mess menu. There are 3-4 canteens on our campus and a cafeteria too, with good food quality. There is also a ne...

Come to NIT Srinagar if this is your last and best option.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is fine. Classrooms are good. Wi-Fi is also available. Labs need some maintenance. The library is well maintained but very small and congested. Mess food is just edible, canteen food is far better. For common health issues, medical facilities can help you, but for bigger issues, the college will prefer you go to a government hospital. Most of the sports courts are here. If you are a sportsperson, you will be happy.

Improving gradually in 2025.

Infrastructure: As per the needs of the modern world, I don't think that we have the required facilities and infrastructure available in NIT Srinagar, classrooms are not well maintained, and many tools for doing experiments are outdated, yet we have Wi-Fi facilities and all kinds of labs. Hostels are built according to old standards, but the new mega hostel will be ready this year. Food is good with all sorts of requirements for a balanced diet. There are 2-3 canteens for each station, fast food, daily use item...

I am in my first year of college. It is very good and one of the most beautiful campuses in India.

Infrastructure: It has very good infrastructure. Every hostel has a nice garden in front of it. There is a badminton court in my hostel where we enjoy playing every day. We have a big ground and good sports equipment, so we enjoy ourselves a lot while playing. We also have a nice view of the mountains.

An almost good institute with average placements and a beautiful campus.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and some courses are NBA-accredited. There are all facilities for our course. It includes good Wi-Fi, classrooms with both smartboards and whiteboards, and good-quality labs. The food is good, and they prepare all Indian foods, both South and North. Sports facilities are also good, with a cricket ground, badminton courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, etc. There are many canteens, but one problem is that there is no night canteen.

College is good for students in higher branches like CSE and ECE, with a nice campus and location.

Infrastructure: Mechanical and ECE departments are accredited. Wi-Fi is slow in hostels but good in academic areas. Mess food is manageable but not very good. A new hostel is being built for more convenience. Geysers, 24/7 water, and electricity are available. Cupboards are provided in the rooms, and single rooms are available for 4th-year students. Labs are good, with equipment and support staff.

Infrastructure: Good infrastructure and all facilities. Wi-Fi is everywhere. Classrooms are good. Library is good and canteen is available. The food is not very good. There are a lot of facilities in sports like badminton, volleyball, cricket, etc. Medical facilities are also good, we get good treatment.

Average colleges don't take your expectations very high while getting into NIT Srinagar.

Infrastructure: As a National institute, you expect a good infrastructure but it's not a good campus infrastructure. You may feel a lack of privacy and find it difficult to adjust at first in hostels. The canteen's facilities are not good, and you also get restrictions for visiting outside of campus and the hostel in terms of timing. You have to share a room with 5 students, and the room is not in very good condition. You will get Wi-Fi facilities. Department buildings are decent. Hostel food is not good. As yo...
