NIT Srinagar Infrastructure Details & Reviews ,

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is fine. Classrooms are good. Wi-Fi is also available. Labs need some maintenance. The library is well maintained but very small and congested. Mess food is just edible, canteen food is far better. For common health issues, medical facilities can help you, but for bigger issues, the college will prefer you go to a government hospital. Most of the sports courts are here. If you are a sportsperson, you will be happy.

Infrastructure: As per the needs of the modern world, I don't think that we have the required facilities and infrastructure available in NIT Srinagar, classrooms are not well maintained, and many tools for doing experiments are outdated, yet we have Wi-Fi facilities and all kinds of labs. Hostels are built according to old standards, but the new mega hostel will be ready this year. Food is good with all sorts of requirements for a balanced diet. Infrastructure: It has very good infrastructure. Every hostel has a nice garden in front of it. There is a badminton court in my hostel where we enjoy playing every day. We have a big ground and good sports equipment, so we enjoy ourselves a lot while playing. We also have a nice view of the mountains.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and some courses are NBA-accredited. There are all facilities for our course. It includes good Wi-Fi, classrooms with both smartboards and whiteboards, and good-quality labs. The food is good, and they prepare all Indian foods, both South and North. Sports facilities are also good, with a cricket ground, badminton courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, etc. There are many canteens, but one problem is that there is no night canteen.

Infrastructure: Mechanical and ECE departments are accredited. Wi-Fi is slow in hostels but good in academic areas. Mess food is manageable but not very good. A new hostel is being built for more convenience. Geysers, 24/7 water, and electricity are available. Cupboards are provided in the rooms, and single rooms are available for 4th-year students. Labs are good, with equipment and support staff.

There are a lot of facilities in sports like badminton, volleyball, cricket, etc. Medical facilities are also good, we get good treatment.

Infrastructure: As a National institute, you expect a good infrastructure but it's not a good campus infrastructure. You may feel a lack of privacy and find it difficult to adjust at first in hostels. The canteen's facilities are not good, and you also get restrictions for visiting outside of campus and the hostel in terms of timing. Infrastructure: The campus is beautiful. Dal Lake is right beside the college. The campus is a little small though. In sports, there are basketball, volleyball, cricket, football, tennis, table tennis, chess, and carrom. There is a canteen, a cafeteria, and some stationery shops.

Infrastructure: Due to the low temperature here, heaters are available in the library and classroom, and Wi-Fi facility is also available. There are all labs available for all branches, like for civil – geotechnical, highway, transportation, structural, concrete lab available.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are very nice due to the cold environment here. Heaters are available in the classrooms. Smart boards are installed in each class, and medical facilities are very good, with a medical unit on campus. There is a big library that is open till 12 at night. Open-air campus Wi-Fi is also provided by the college.

Infrastructure: The hostel facilities and infrastructure are relatively nice. There are pretty good Wi-Fi lab facilities, well-maintained classrooms, a library, and nice medical facilities for sports and games. There is scope for improvement that needs to be addressed. Overall, it is a good college.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi often doesn't work. Although classrooms are spacious. Labs have the required equipment most of the time. The library needs more space. The quality of food is above average. The rooms have 5 occupants each. However, this could change soon since a new hostel is being built.

Infrastructure: Excellent infrastructure, beautiful campus life, and sufficient labs and workshops for the mechanical department. In the hostel, there are 5-seater rooms, which are not good, and the mess food is average. Sometimes the hostel Wi-Fi is not working properly. In NIT Srinagar, the best branch is the mechanical department.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is excellent, especially in the winter. The campus has all the necessary facilities required for students. Labs are sufficient and equipped with modern tools. The whole campus is Wi-Fi covered. Classrooms are digitalised, and the library is open from 6 AM to 12 AM. The hostel is okay. 5 students are accommodated in a room for the first year. The mess is okay, with differentiated timings for veg and non-veg, providing 4 meals a day.

Infrastructure: Labs are decent, but first-year classrooms are not good. The library has a very limited seating capacity. Wi-Fi is available but limited, with unnecessary website restrictions. The mess and canteen are poor. Sports and games are below average. There is not enough infrastructure for sports, with very few events and tournaments.
