B.E. in Electrical, Electronics and Power Engineering - Batch of 2023

Review of P.E.S. College of Engineering.
Placements: I received great support from the placement office. I am thankful to the training and placement cell for providing a platform to enhance my skills and an opportunity to showcase them. Internship opportunities are good in our college.
Infrastructure: Hostels have a lush green environment. Separate hostels are available for boys and girls. Round-the-clock security is available. Phone, indoor games, and television facilities are available in the common room. Rooms are ventilated. Mess facilities are available in the hostel. Solar heaters and water coolers are available.
Faculty: Teachers are good, caring, and supportive. Their teaching quality is good. Exams are conducted on time with strict invigilation. Semester exams are easy to pass, but scoring high is difficult. They provide good quality education and soft skills training with their effective teaching skills.
Other: This college gave us opportunities to meet different people and learn several things. The campus encourages and helps us to develop the ability to adapt. Ragging is strictly prohibited in our college.

Place where you can Grow.
Placements: The percentage of students that were placed in the campus were at a reasonable rate and I would consider calling this percent as moderate rating. The salary range was from 2.5LPA to 4LPA offered by the companies or the industries that were present in campus drive.
Infrastructure: The facility provided by the college such as Labs libraries and classrooms are comfortable upto the mark as expected the labs are equipped with the required devices or instruments needed for the practicals or demos that are to be done for or by the students.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers in the college are helpful as they are highly qualified professionals and are always there for the students. But there is need of a two way communication between the students and the teachers here. They teach the technical skills required.
Other: I choose Electrical engineering as it has a vast range and variety of exposure and versatility in it.

I am actually totally satisfied with my college.
Placements: Placements are excellent in this college. From all over Maharashtra placements cells including technical streams visit our college. Almost average package from this college is 2 to 3.5 lacks per year. In terms of technical placements cell, lot of multinational companies visits our college.
Infrastructure: If we talk about the infrastructure of college, it's one of the finest infrastructure in aurangabad. The classrooms are spacious for around 100 students can sit at a time. Its also got a big campus area for sports as well as hostel. Hostel is also good in condition with proper facilities and safety for girls hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are really cooperative and friendly in nature. They help a lot if some student is stuck in any situation. They are highly qualified with proper guidance and students also follow the disciplines from them which is a good part. The other events like sport and cultural events also are happening. They do support well in this case.

The college is good regarding studies, but don't expect any placements from this college.
Placements: The word placement sounds like a joke for this college. The college has zero placement for my batch. Even the overall placement is zero, as neither any of my junior nor senior, got campus placement. Not even a single company visited my college. The placement cell of college is the worst as they don't put any efforts to provide placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and the campus is lush green. Classrooms are quite big and well-ventilated. The college campus has all the basic amenities. The labs are also good with all the equipment. College hostel is the worst part. The rooms are not good and clean. The hostel lacks many basic amenities like water filter and water cooler.
Faculty: Most of the senior faculty are well-educated and have abundant of knowledge. The staff are quite supportive, but there are some junior teachers who just graduated from the college, and they are not at all good in their subjects. Such staff don't even have practical knowledge.
Other: The college does not organise a lot of events. Only a few events were organised which were not up to the mark. The cause of every problem in this college is the dirty caste politics, because of which students suffer a lot.

The teachers are awesome, but college does not give facilities to students.
Placements: The placements in NIT are good because our college is not that big, but the placement happens for every 2-3 years. The placement happens and companies also come, but as compared to students, very fewer vacancies are there. Most companies required CSE, mechanical and EEP students. Most of the students don't have any advantage of campus selection due to fewer vacancies.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi facility for students. The canteen is the worse part of the college, and it is not clean. The library is not good, and books are too old, nothing is good. No medical facilities. The campus is not good and not hi-tech, no CCTV cameras are at the campus. Parking facilities are hilarious because we have to park bikes in the direct sunlight, there are shades but only for college staff.
Faculty: The teachers are good, and they all are always helpful to everyone. The teachers are just brilliant. There is no e-learning facility available at the college. Quality of teaching is good, but I think every college should have projectors and every teacher should carry graphical content in pen drive to teach students in a more pleasant way.

I think that my college is the best.
Placements: Salary offered here ranges from 20-30k. Seniors are always helpful and caring. The companies that visit our college are not the top companies but they are good.
Infrastructure: Our college has the best and big library and it has every book related to every course. Students can easily avail books from the library. Some books are not available but still the library management is good.
Faculty: Teachers were the best. Always ready to help the students. They used to push the average students and used to give us projects. Non-teaching staff was helpful too.
Other: I am currently in the 2nd year.

My enthusiastic college journey.
Placements: Near about 60% of the students got placements. The highest package offered is 3.5 LPA and the lowest is 1.5 LPA. Our top recruiting companies are Siemens, Infosys and Byjus. I got placed in Siemens as a trainee engineer. Some of my friends were placed in Byjus and Infosys too. Many of our students got internships in well leading companies.
Infrastructure: Our collage has good infrastructure. For every department, one floor of the building is given. There are two hostels for boys and one for girls. If we have issues with the quality of food, we can complaint against it. For every department there is lab for practical purposes, and college premise provided with Wi-Fi facilities. The library is at the ground floor so no disturbance. At the end of every year, we celebrate sport festival in which we play different types of games like cricket, football, kabaddi, etc.
Faculty: All the teachers in our collage are from well known institutes and are able to give what they know best. Every single staff member is experienced and they have always helped us for our project related issues. We are always thankfully to them for the motivation they provide.
Other: I was initially not sure what should I choose, but one day I realized I can't be happy in life if I do other thing instead of engineering because everyone in my family is engineer so I was having a soft corner for engineering. Every year, some events like tech tricks and annual gathering are really enthusiastic. Every year lots of students participate in campus and many of them get satisfactory results.
