The best college in North East India.
Placements: The college created career guidance, counseling, and placement. The placement is not very good compared to top colleges in India. However, there once was a placement drive held on the campus. The program was organized in collaboration with ICICI Prudential and Life Insurance Company Limited.
Infrastructure: Hostel life is perfect, with two students sharing a room and free Wi-Fi access. Several shops are located just outside the campus. The hostel also offers a gym, as well as courts for football, volleyball, basketball, and futsal, all of which are free for residents to use. The hostel mess provides decent meals.
Faculty: Faculty members are kind and nice to approach. They provide a lot of help to students. The UG syllabus is somewhat similar to CUET, IIT, JAM, etc. Exam syllabus, so being thorough with the college syllabus helps a lot for many entrance exams. The pass percentage is almost always higher than 75%.
Other: Many events and festivals like music and cultural day, winter fest, college week, and summer fest are held throughout the week. The campus has nice weather, cool and refreshing.

B.A. in History - Batch of 2024

The teaching quality is top here.
Placements: About 60 people opt for history department at Pachhunga University College. We mostly go for the Civil Service examination. There are no specific top roles for a trained historian but some students work in the archive. About 30% of students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not good at all but we still access it. We can easily connect it from the library but not from hostel, but still it works. The quality of the food is not good at all. I would not say it is worse. It is not that good with the mess fee being Rs. 2,700.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is top-class than other colleges in Aizawl. The course builds our knowledge and helps a lot. Semesters are quite difficult and we have faced a lot of difficulties in catching up with our classmates. The pass percentage is about 90%.
Other: I chose this course accidentally but I enjoyed it. I even want to continue it for a Master's degree. The thing I wish for is a field trip for history students.

My PUC is very good in the studies and it holds 35th rank in NIRF.
Placements: 87% of students got placed in the course. This college has a very good ranking in NIRF as this year it placed 35th rank. There is no package for this course so we just study only one course right now. I don't really know about the internships in our college as I think they still don't have internships.
Infrastructure: The department room is very good in structure and I would say it is best. In the room, we have free Wi-Fi and the laboratory room is also very good in structure. The library is also good and it has around 5,000 books in the library. For the hostel, the meets fee is very good and very cheap than other PGs around the locality in the college. It has one sports complex which can be used to play football and other games. It has also one gymnasium.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly with the students. They are very strict in their studies so they help us in many ways that they could help us. It helps the students to understand the topics in physics and they read very much about the next topic which we are about to study. The college semester exam is not very hard and not very easy. The pass percentage is about 40% at the end semester.

Best college in Mizoram, maybe even North East.
Placements: As our college is at the top of Mizoram, most students just do not get into it, so the percentage of being admitted is low, the package being offered is the same for everyone, and placement and internship are poor. But then our batch is lucky enough to have a gold medalist.
Infrastructure: As our campus is huge and renovations are being done,. The infrastructure and facilities are better compared to any other college in Mizoram. Every section has different buildings for each subject or stream and our classroom uses a projector for studying. It also has one of the biggest libraries. Hostels are also available for both boys and girls in different buildings.
Faculty: Teachers are more than qualified, as they are all experienced teachers. They are easily approachable and forward-thinking, with students being kind and loving. The course curriculum is more than relevant and makes the student develop into a better person and the college always has a 90 or above pass-out percentage.
Other: I chose these courses as the sole reason for my being in a business and entrepreneurship role. These courses help many of the students within the economic atmosphere. Scholarships are always provided for those in need and college comes with different kinds of clubs, activities and sports every year.

Review of Pachhunga University College.
Infrastructure: The library is open from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Many books are available. The hostel is good. They select a hostel president who manages all the hostel things. The quality of the food in the canteen is delicious.
Faculty: Our teachers are qualified and good. Semester exams are not difficult to pass because we study properly and always try to give our best. Our teachers are always available to help us whenever we need them. They try to solve our problems.
Other: All students try very hard to grasp the concept and beauty of mathematics.

Absolutely satisfied! Good infrastructure and good lecturers.
Placements: Last year, Oil India limited came here for campus placement and few other local companies too. Frankly speaking, not many students get internship because it's not a medical or engineering college.
Infrastructure: I would say it is the best college in Mizoram in terms of infra and facilities. The central library was among the best library in college category in India. Labs, classrooms faculty room, sport complex, orchid garden, water supply, electricity, all are top class I would say. College canteen and stationery shops would provide all your needs from photocopy to lamination. Hostel is quite good with 2 students per room. The monthly fee is 2700 INR, which is quite low. There is a sports complex in the college where you can play basketball, football, volleyball, table tennis, badminton and several indoor games. There is also a hospital nearby.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good. Only qualified teachers will teach you. Difficulty in the exams is about 4 stars. I'm in mathematics department, so the exams are quite difficult for me. You have to score atleast 40% to pass in them.
