Life around the campus is fun.

Placements: Too many opportunities are waiting for every law graduate who wishes to practice law by litigating in the courts. Thus, no placements required. Corporate law aspirants would definitely face a big challenge here since no job placements or internship opportunities are provided by the college.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure and the classrooms are good. Library is fine. No e-library though. The college conducts annual inter departmental sports tournaments. There is a hospital in the campus itself.

Faculty: The college follows Mumbai University’s course curriculum. Faculty is good. Intra college Moot Court competitions are conducted every year by the Student Moot Court committee council and ofcourse, under the guidance of the teaching staff.

Other: "VELAWCITY" is the annual inter-collegiate cultural festival of Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Law.
