Q:   What are the Zoology career options for postgraduates?
A:

Q:   Which courses can I do after a D.Ed.? Should I do a BSc or B.Ed?
A:

The best choice depends on your career aspirations:

·       If you want to become a teacher: Opt for a B.Ed. It's the mandatory qualification for teaching in most schools.

·       If you want to pursue a career in research or a science-related field: A BSc would be more suitable. It provides a strong foundation for further studies and specialised careers.

·       If you're unsure: Consider your interests and skills. Do you enjoy teaching and interacting with students? Or are you more drawn to scientific exploration and research?

Additional options:

·       M.Ed.: If you already have a B.Ed., you can pursue a Master of Education for career advancement or specialisation in a particular teaching area.

·       Diploma courses: Various specialised Diploma courses in education or related fields can enhance your skills and knowledge.

Pandu College: Empowering students through quality education and holistic development.
Placements: Placements are offered very less in our college, however, 20% of 100% get placement. The highest package offered is Rs. 80,000. Top recruiting companies are Bajaj Motors, SBI Finance, Tata Motors, etc. The top roles offered are assistant LDA and manager.
Infrastructure: The campus has a very good and moderate environment with infrastructure. There is free Wi-Fi on the whole campus. There are computer labs, chemistry labs, botanical labs, biology labs, etc. The modern library and hostel facilities are also good, as per the students' review. Good and hygienic food is served.
Faculty: The teachers and professors are helpful and highly qualified. The course is relevant and provides various career opportunities. Exams aren’t that tough, it depends on how you prepare for them. The faculty is strict when it comes to academics.
Other: I personally didn’t know much about the course, but later I learned many things and opportunities came to me, so now I really love the course. It is valuable and knowledgeable. It provides more skill subjects and practical work, which is better. The department celebrates freshers’, farewell, and college fests. Scholarships aren’t provided, and I don't know what the issue is with that.

Infrastructure: I am not very sure about the hostel because hostel I travel from my home to college every day.
Faculty: Faculty members are excellent. The exam facilities are also very good. Exams for our course are conducted very neatly. I am quite satisfied with my course. The respected professors who are from our department are always ready to help us. They are very knowledgeable.
Other: Extracurricular activities are conducted very frequently and active participation is almost seen every time.

The college is good for average students as our teachers make them very sharp with their knowledge.
Placements: It is a general degree college so no placements are there. No package is given as I am from Zoology background. In our course, no jobs are given directly so no companies come. But from time to time internships come which are informed to us by teachers.
Infrastructure: College is equipped with a well-furnished chemistry lab. There is a zoology museum. There are around more than 200 species, and more than any other college. It is equipped with Wi-Fi on the whole campus. There is a central library with around 47,000 hard-copy books and e-books too. I don't stay in hostel. I have less idea of that still the hostel stay is good and food is average.
Faculty: Every teacher is well qualified with many years of experience. The course is relevant but it depends on how someone takes and apply upon them. Semester exams are not quite easy or hard, it's moderate. I am from Zoology department. My department's overall percentage has been 100% for the past 5 years.
Other: I am interested in Zoology wildlife that's why I have chosen it.

All about you need to know Pandu College.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course was around 30%. The highest package offered in my course was around Rs. 50,000, and the lowest was around Rs. 20,000. I didn't know about the companies that recruited the students after our course. The percentage of students who got internships after our course was around 40%.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in our college were quite decent, especially in our Commerce Department, compared to the other departments. I didn't live in any hostel, so I couldn't describe the quality of the facilities available in the hostel, but the quality of food in the canteen was quite good and tasty. We did have medical facilities outside the campus and sports and games facilities on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is properly relevant and reasonable compared to the course quality we are getting. Semester exams in this college are moderately tough, and the passing percentage is 45%.
Other: I chose this course because it was the only course I wanted to do and learn about, which was Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com). The diversity of teachers should have been improved. There were several events held in our college, such as the Golden Jubilee, Silver Jubilee, Farewell, Selection, Sports Week, etc.
