Good course and decent college.

Placements: B.Com (Hons.) at PGDAV College, DU, batch 2024–27, offers good exposure to commerce and business. 70 percent of students get placed. The package offered us 3 LPA- 10 LPA. Top recruiters are Deloitte, EY, WTW, Accenture, and Zomato. Internships are also available.

Infrastructure: PGDAV College has facilities like good classrooms, Wi-Fi, library, computer labs, canteen, and sports facilities. The infrastructure is satisfactory for B.Com (Hons.). College does not have an on-campus hostel so hostel and mess facilities are not applicable.

Faculty: The teachers at PGDAV College are qualified, knowledgeable, and generally helpful. The teaching quality is good. The B.Com (Hons.) curriculum is relevant and provides a good foundation though students need extra practical skills to become industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is generally high.

Other: I am pursuing B.Com (Hons.) at PGDAV College, DU, batch 2024–27. I chose it for my interest in commerce and business. Course offers good exposure through societies, events, and extracurricular activities. Connectivity is good, though infrastructure and placement opportunities could improve.

Good college with a nice academic environment.

Placements: The placement opportunities at PGDAV College are good overall. The placement cell provides students with different opportunities and helps them understand the placement process. I feel there is still scope for getting more companies and better opportunities. But I am satisfied with the placement support.

Infrastructure: The main problem is that college does not have a hostel. This can be difficult for students who come from outside Delhi.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful. Most teachers have good knowledge of their subjects. The curriculum is also decent. It covers the important parts of the course. Exams are conducted properly. They are not too difficult if you attend classes and study regularly. The course offered by PGDAV College is good. Teachers also explain the topics properly. I am mostly satisfied with the academics and the course structure.

Other: I feel the college can improve its placement opportunities and also provide better facilities for students. Having a hostel facility would also be helpful. This is especially for students coming from outside Delhi. My experience with the college is good.

Infrastructure: The college has well maintained classrooms. It also has seminar halls and sports facilities. The library is useful for students. The infrastructure provides a comfortable environment for academic learning. It also allows students to enjoy extracurricular activities in the college.

No filter, just facts. Overall, college is good, and I've described enough in the previous sections.

Placements: Being a freshie, I'm exploring the college and its placement cell. As far as I've heard, the package is good compared to other colleges. Talking about the facts and figures of internships, it's around 60–70%. Top recruiting companies are PwC, Accenture, and some of the other consulting firms.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good. Playground is big and spacious. There are dedicated spaces for cricket, basketball, & volleyball. The college has a massive air-conditioned library. The library has a lot of books for students. Wi-Fi is also available everywhere on campus. The connectivity is not always good. What disappoints me the most is that college doesn't have a single badminton court.

Faculty: Faculty is awesome, supportive, and experienced. Talking about the semester exams, what I've heard is that they are competitive-level and easy if you are fully prepared. The B.Com course which I've taken is a beginner-level degree. Students must actively take part in learning different skills throughout the year.

Other: It's good value for money, but if one can score better, then he/she can have better options. The crowd is average. About fests, I haven't received any information about them.

PGDAV College has great, supportive faculty and a solid DU-based curriculum.

Placements: The placement in our course is average. Nearly 70–80% of students get placed. Most placements happen through campus drives only. The highest package reached 30 LPA, and the average package stood at around 5–7 LPA. Top recruiting companies include the Big 4 and major IT firms, and common roles are offered.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure for our department is top-notch. It features good Wi-Fi across the campus. It has well-air-conditioned computer labs. The library provides a great collection of books. Medical and sports facilities are also available on campus. I don't know much about the hostel facilities.

Faculty: Faculty members at our college are highly qualified. They are supportive and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent. They focus on practical rather than theory. Course curriculum is updated with NEP 2020. Semester exams are conducted fairly.
